“Great Ice Cream”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

The Fort is a bit run down compared to what it was in the 70s but it is a great place to get some generous ice cream cones and local travel gifts. I'm not kidding - the ice cream is worth it!

“Interesting place to visit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

I've enjoyed visits to Fort Whoop Up. I would recommend it to visitors to Lethbridge. They have wagon rides and realistic plays that are enjoyable. The challenge is to be there when the plays are on. It's a museum. For those who enjoy museums, it's a good place to visit. The staff are very pleasant. And they have great ice cream at a reasonable price.

“History”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

Not much drama of the history of this place is revealed by visiting it. What could be a wild west story is more or less an avoidance of talking about the past and instead showing off fur trading and settler lifestyle. Pretty boring
