Even though this hotel has been renovated, it still looks a little sad and something needs to be done with the outside. Staff were friendly and helpful, though they forgot to mention you needed to swipe the key to get the elevator to work. The room on the top floor, was fairly quiet. Sometime after midnight some guests decided to get into a fight, and the staff dealt with his quickly and efficiently. The room needed a good dust and it looked like they missed vacuuming in some spots, but all in all, it was OK. Automatic doors would be a help when it comes to loading and unloading luggage, also be aware that you have to go up three steps at the door nearest Denny’s Restaurant and no handicap ramp from the outside.

Room tip: Get a room on the top floor to keep noise to a minimum. If possible get a room at the back of the hotel if you are not fond of road noise.

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. It was very convenient to have the Denny's restaurant attached. Easy in & easy out - friendly, helpful front desk. Very reasonable rates!! Needed your room key to access the elevator which became a pain with visitors but appreciated the security measures.

Our whole stay was excellent. From booking, to the rooms, to the hot buffet breakfast included with the room. Excellent breakfast. The rooms were recently renovated and were clean and modern. They were very nice. We were also happy they were able to give us 3 rooms side by side on the 1st floor because our family has 2 handicapped people and one senior. Staff was excellent. An extra shout out to the buffet staff who were excellent in helping us, even bringing us coffee sometimes.

Room tip: We liked first floor for mobility reasons. Inside rooms are nicer because of court yard. Outside rooms facing east have parking lot view.

Great place for short stay . Room was clean , roomy and with a comfortable bed . Restaurant on premises was open 24 hours and very welcomed on late arrival . Staff was friendly and helpful . Excellent security measures with access to floors only with room key . Location is good , on the main road on the way in from the airport . Shopping and more restaurants are nearby .

I am in town for business and my family is joining me. We have a long weekend where we are from so we decided to take a mini-vacation and booked the Sandman as it had a pool for my daughter and we were under the impression that there was a hot tub for my husband and I to enjoy at the same time. Contrary to everyone’s thoughts (their was another mother/daughter & a group of men that were also looking for the hot tub while we were there) there is actually no hot tub just a cold pool. There are even photos of the pool and hot tub in their elevator but sadly no hot tub. What’s up with that Sandman? I hate to say it but I feel cheated.
