“not worth the money”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

We stayed in room 108 and well as you can see it was not worth the Money and would have been better to stay some where else.stains on carpet tape on the walls and the window that was to hard to open, as well as pool to cold and the hot tub you could burn yourself in.

Room Tip: stay some where else.

To whom it may concern. We travel yearly by motorcycle and normally a day on a bike is long, hot/cold and you look forward to your stop and stay. We came to Lethbridge on a Sunday and we stopped for the day at 6:00 only to find that this hotel's restaurant and lodge was only open until 8:00. We quickly cleaned up and went to the restaurant for a very well deserved dinner and a few drinks only to be told that we need to quickly place our order as the kitchen is closing in fifteen minutes and that they only had a limited supply of beer and could only have what she had in her fridge which was top price imported beer and we only were able to have two each and they were "WARM". Very disappointed in the front desk greeting with this information and the service and same greeting we received in the dining room. Then in the morning we were advised that they do not offer a continential breakfast, which we were not made aware of upon registering. Need to eat something before taking medication and even the cheap Ma & Pa hotels/motels offer a piece of fruit or a muffin ! Never coming to stay with you again.

Hotel was a little hard to find..not hotel's fault, but strange street patterns. Nice check-in, friendly desk.

But, getting luggage to the room not happy! There is a "Tropical Rain Forest" "feature" in the middle of the hotel...between the desk and the elevator. Just TRY to get a luggage cart through the two bridges and winding path to the only elevator if you are on an upper floor!

Our room (450) was small, but adequate. Bathroom sink was cracked and we could NOT get any hot water no matter how long we let the water run. Wife had a "cool bath" (not the happiest thing for her...or me). In the morning I had a cooler...almost cold...shower.

The restaurants (3!) were either closed (it was a Sunday) or doing buffets...not a favorite!!

Oh, and the floor in our room was sloping towards the river/cliff rather alarmingly! Do they have earthquakes there??

All together, though the staff was very nice, I'd give this place a pass next time we're in Lethbridge.

Was in one of the newly rennovated rooms. It was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is TINY. You practically have to stand on the toilet to close the bathroom door. Our room service tray sat outside our door for more than 24hours waiting to be picked up. The wifi is painfully slow. That being said the staff was friendly and the food was great. Overall not a bad experience if you aren't expecting luxury.

To whom this concerns, I recently stayed at your Hotel and was very dissapointed in my stay. I was put in a room 248. When I entered the room there was a huge stain on the floor in front of the couch(about 12 inches in diameter). The throw at the foot of the bed was stained with what I hope was spilled milk and should have never been in the room!! room 428 is right next to the elevator and I got very little sleep until about 2 am when the elevater was not being used. I have stayed with your hotel many times and have always enjoyed my stays but will be hard pressed and wary to stay there again. After seeing the stained bed throw we immediatley checked the sheets to see if they were soiled, they were not but that should not be a thought in our heads when booking a room at what we thought was a "fine" establishment, Ken Grove

Room Tip: Do not book near elevator,

My husband and I recently stayed at the Lodge because we were attending a wedding nearby. We were very disappointed in how run down the hotel has become. Bathroom was tiny and crumbling, carpets old and worn, beds uncomfortable. We used to love coming to this hotel because of the inner atrium and location, but in future we will look elsewhere.
