Good menu options drew me in at the end of a busy day in the Park. The restaurant is located on the South end of the main drag with a nice view of the mountains. The menu offers a wide assortment of nicer meals including steak, seafood and pasta. The environment was a nicer sit-down restaurant while still comfortably casual.
The Torpedo Shrimp appetizer was served freshly cooked. 5 pieces of breaded shrimp with cocktail sauce. The shrimp had a very good flavor, and did not have that frozen taste. For dinner, I had the Seafood Fettuccine with shrimp, crab and scallops in a white wine garlic sauce. The entree was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the seafood all tasted fresh and the sauce was delicious. A definite hit. A piece of garlic bread to sop the last of the sauce in the bowl would have been appreciated, even if a bit rude. Both the app and the main smelled delicious on arrival at the table and both delivered on that promise.
Price for the appetizer, main and a 6 oz. glass of House white wine came to $46.00. Not bad at all for a quality dinner at a nice restaurant. This was a great dinner at somewhere I would like to go again and will definitely recommend to other travelers in Jasper, Alberta.
