Convenient for the centre of Jasper while beautifully quiet. We were in the basement apartment which was surprisingly light and comfortable. Had a really good night's sleep. Free wifi excellent, makes up for lack of radio/tv.

A lovely room in a great location with knowledgable and friendly hosts but the whole package didn't quite make it.
The breakfast wasn't enough in terms of variety of amount to keep us going on the hills. We also had to ask for extra drinks and milk which isn't a big deal but its a hassle.
The lack of common space, either to eat your food or to relax in meant you didn't meet the other guests or the hosts in anywhere else except the hallway.
A good place to stay but not a great place to stay.
The room is comfortable, very large and had nice views. The place is very clean and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. On the whole it was very good. The only downsides were the no shoes policy - which for others might not be a problem, but for someone with limited mobility (and the bedroom being upstairs) was an issue. As well, the breakfast is a nice try, but does not compare to others on this trip. We would go back.
Great property that is only a few minutes away by foot to the centre of Jasper. Very clean. Mair was incredibly helpful and basically made the itinerary for our trips throughout Jasper National Park. We had a lot of fun.
My husband and I stayed at Raven House for three nights in August. We have always found B & B's to be a comfortable, affordable, and friendly accommodation option, far more attractive in every way than a hotel, and we hoped our hiking holiday in Jasper would be enhanced by the hominess of another B & B experience.
We booked the Whistler Room and found it very much to our liking; it was spacious and clean, had a large ensuite and a sitting area with a gorgeous view of the mountains. There was plenty of closet space and we were very comfortable....our issue was with the breakfast.
In the first place, when a room costs $150/night and that room is situated in a town like Jasper where many travelers are hiking, there should be something offered that is warm and substantial. We were provided items like yogurt tubs, banana, apples, berries and pastry. This was left on a tray in the hallway, to be brought into the room and eaten there. We never had an option for eggs or cereal, and we definitely missed meeting other travelers by eating in a common area....honestly, the day we saw bakery chocolate croissants on our tray, we headed into town and purchased our breakfast there.....getting prepared for a day of hiking requires more than cold fruit and sweets...we were very disappointed.
Raven House B & B is a lovely place to stay, but if the "Breakfast" portion of the B & B is important to you, give this accommodation a lot of thought.
We stayed three nights with Mair and Tony in late July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mair very helpful with where to visit and to eat. Large comfortable bed and great breakfasts. Very handy walking to town. Hopefully will visit again one day!
