“Central location, great breakfast”
Reviewed August 1, 2008

We stayed for 2 nights in the Garden Room. Nice room with a great bed and a seperate bathroom. We felt very welcome, and the breakfast was great. Very nice that you could take the leftovers in a doggybag. And you certainly won't eat it all at once.... We suggested we wanted to take Tobi, the host, home to Holland, to make us breakfast every day. But I guess in a few weeks we'll burst out of our clothes.
Jasper is very beautiful scenic place, with great surroundings and chances to see wildlife. There are nice restaurants (Jasper Beer Brewery, great food & beer!) and shops in the centre. That's about a 5 minute easy walk from the Glass House.

The review "Just about o.k." said everything. It is actually not a bathroom, it is a shower without light, if you are tall you have even more problems. The beds were not made every day.
The breakfast is nice.

We stayed two nights in the Garden room, having read previous Tripadvisor reviews. Our hosts were Tobi and Jim who made us very welcome. The room looked out onto the very quiet road, a few minutes walk from the main street. The huge bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, Yes the bathroom was a little cramped but perfectly adequate for our length of stay and purpose. We had a peek at the loft - what a lovely room. We had use of the ground floor lounge and, although sharing the house with the owners felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is what you make it and we had some great conversations and laughs with Tobi and Jim during our short stay. The breakfasts were huge and very relaxed and the doggy bag a bonus. Their recommendation to eat at Evil Dave's was a good one!

A private house offering 3 rooms for B&B. We stayed in the 'Loft' which was more like a spacious apartment, including jacuzzi and beautiful views of the mountains (I didn't see the other rooms, but would guess they are smaller with no view). Excellent possition in Jasper, off the main street but just a few minutes walk to reach bars and restaurants in the evening.
Very helpful hosts, lots of local knowledge and advise. The best breakfast of any B&B we've stayed in! Fresh fruit and loads of lovely fresh bread, muffins etc - including a 'doggy bag' for what you can't eat!

This place was okay, not as great as it sounded from reading others reviews. We were in the solarium which is a small bedroom off of the sunroom which has glass sliding doors to connect to the dining room. The room was on the small side with an odd bathroom set up in the closet. It was awkward and hard to shower if my husband was still sleeping. The breakfast was very good as all the other reviews said although I felt that the atmosphere was a little cold and unwelcoming which was awkward since you were in the same house. All in all not my favorite place to stay.

Stayed in The Loft - lovely views. The breakfasts are as good as previous reviews say - it was great to go off with the doggy bags of home made goodies! The property is only a short walk from the town centre yet was quiet and relaxed. We were made to feel at home and would happily stay here again.

We booked the Solarium room after reading positive comments about the Glass House online. The room was very different than what we expected - the bathroom is actually a closet converted into a tiny shower and toilet area - very cramped. Must give the owners points for creativity though! There's no light fixture in the shower so you have to rely on the bedroom light to look around. Also, we had very little water flow in our shower and sink area in the morning hours - apparently guests in the loft room were filling up their bathtub! Ovearll, our experience at this B & B was just about ok.

Pros: Courteous host, central location
Cons: Bathroom size in the Solarium room; water flow in the bathroom/sink area
