As you enter the lobby, you do get a mix of old and new, old as in the stuffed animals put on the walls and new as the renovate check in counter.

Excellent staff and very helpful, we used the courtesy shuttle to the town centre and both the times the staff who drove us there offered us excellent tips.

As we had to moved to another hotel for one night which was few blocks away, the duty manger offered us complementary drop, on the day of checkout as the shuttle was not available, they managed to put us into a taxi and picked up the fare.

Breakfast good spread in tms of cereals, oats fruits etc, however as strict vegetarians we could not enjoy any of the bread items as they All contained eggs.

Room Tip: At times the reception gets very busy as they have charter bus checkin in, have patience the staff w...

We received a warm welcome, room was fine but strange not to have an outside view, we overlooked the restaurant which proved noisy n the early morninf when the coach tour gruops we re enjoing breakfast. We only ate in the sports bar because the restaurant felt a little formal and grown up for us (we're 60+) Good location for walking into town.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a dubble queen bed room. The first thing we noticed is the friendly and helpfull staff.
Rooms and bathroom are big and clean. And there is a big TV in the room.
Beds are small (as said on booking sites) and location isn't the best.

The pool inside the hotel is nice and there is also a big sauna.

I choose this hotel for the rating versus price and it was just as I expected.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our trip to the rockies. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a superior room as we had mentioned upon booking that it was our wedding anniversary.

As we did not arrive until 10pm and were very surprised and pleased to find a tray full of food in our room consisting of melon, strawberries, chocolate bars, cheese & crackers, as well as an anniversary card. We thought this was such a nice touch and completely unexpected.

We were travelling up from Banff & spent the whole day travelling along the Bow Valley Parkway and Icefields parkway, stopping off at various points along the way. This was by far our best day as you see much. We saw our first grizzly bear here, a mother grizzly bear with her 2 baby cubs just before Peyto lake. We also saw another grizzly bear during our stay and 6 black bears so we were vey happy!

We were in room 306, which had a lovely king size bed and balcony. There was some noise from other rooms in the morning but overall we had good sleeps.

The hotel facilities were great, lovely large pool, hot tub and sauna which we used most evenings.

We also ate the restaurant one night and had a lovely meal at reasonable prices meal, although they did try charging us $22 for something we didn’t have with no apology when we pointed this out. Also they include 15% service in the bill.

We were supposed to stay at the Chateau lake louise for our last night on the Friday however due the flood crisis and the road closure between Jasper and Lake Louise we couldn’t go which was terribly disappointing. The hotel staff were extremely helpful during this, keeping us updated on the road situation. We checked out on the Friday with the intention of driving to Edmonton and staying there for a night to break up the 8 hour journey as we couldn’t get to the airport via the transCanada highway. However luck still wasn’t on our side as just as we left Jasper there was a car crash fatality and we were stuck in traffic for 3 hours to then be told that the road wouldn’t be opened for another 8 hours! We turned back to the Sawridge and explained our situation and asked if they could help us contact the hotel in Edmonton to cancel our booking. Despite the fact that we were no longer staying there and they were extremely busy with people asking for advice for the roads & other travellers also trying to find rooms due to the crash they went out of their way to help us. The man at reception kindly called the hotel for us and arranged for it to be cancelled at no cost to us and let us use their internet and computer at the front desk for a good half an hour.

Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Jasper.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the atrium as we did, otherwise it will be very noisy

We were staying here as part of our Rocky Mountaineer train/drive vacation. Unfortunately, we were traveling during the devastating storm. We were unable to complete the second half of our trip which was Baniff, Lake Louise and Calgary due to road closures. The Duty Manager Fabian was so thoughtful and helpful. He kept us updated on the road conditions and booked us another night at the hotel. When we found out that our hotel in Calgary was under water made reservations for us to stay at the Sawridge Inn in Edmonton, where we decided to travel and fly out from there. If the hotel has an employee appreciation program ,I would like to nominate Fabian Von Zabiensky for an award. Thank you Fabian for making a difficult ending of our trip less stressful. The hotel is at the further end of the road but is only a 10 minute walk which we rather enjoyed since it stays light until almost 11:00 p.m. (23:00) and we enjoy walking after dinner.

The hotel room was dated and the bed hard! I booked for 2 people and needed two double beds got one King size. The fine dining was supposed to be amazing, was way overpriced, no selection and certainly does not accommodate younger taste buds, would not eat their again if you paid me. Room Service was very rude and the breakfast was stone cold and ridiculously over priced. F&B Mgr should learn about this little thing they call shampoo. Will NEVER stay there again.

The hotel has nice rooms and is well maintained. The low star rating was becuse we considered the food was below par. We ate in all three options and although the food was OK it was not exciting.

The hotel has a pool.

It is used by bus parties which means the main restaurant is busy for breakfast.
