We stayed in a loft suite with our two adult daughters. Bathroom is small and poorly located. Bedrooms are adequate but the loft offers little isolation from any noise from below (particularly snoring parents!). We had a good meal in the Inn's restaurant - it was better quality, service and value than the other meal we had at the Jasper Brewing Company the following night. TV reception was poor - only because of a poor cable connection which I managed to fix. We had to go out into the weather to access the restaurant, pool and vending machine which was a hassle when it is cold and wet.

Dear UrungaSav

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us.
Our apologies for the inconvenience you encountered when going from your room to the other buildings. (* Our 1 and 2 bedroom suites are located across the parking lot from our Restaurant and Pool facility, however we do have a variety of smaller rooms located in the same building as our pool*)
We hope you enjoyed your visit to the mountains.
Sincerely

We traveled for 30 days, staying in about 20 different hotel/motels. This was by far the worst value. Two hotels we stayed in topped $450 per night, and they were better values! The Jasper Best Western is way over priced for the season. I understand that it is a ski town and I imagine people are glad to pay it during ski season but this was off-season. It was also the smallest room we stayed in during the month. Bedding was nice but the bedroom and bath were really close quarters.

We had dinner in the motel restaurant and, although the food was delicious, the staff treated us like we were doing them a favor. "You DON'T have a reservation? Well, I guess we could serve you in the bar." What a laugh! They didn't have ten customer the whole time we were there!

This was also the ONLY Best Western we have ever stayed in (probably 18 of them) that didn't offer a complimentary breakfast.

Dear VirginiaAntiquer

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify that our busiest season is from mid June to September when are rates are higher and comparable to other properties in Jasper National Park during this time period as opposed to our ski season when the rates are lower. We offer many different room styles and rates as well as the option for a bed and breakfast package which is a great value. Our apologies that you were unaware of this at the time of your reservation.
We would like to express our apologies for the issues you encountered in the restaurant and have addressed these with our Management Team. On the positive note, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your dinner with us.

Sincerely
The Best Western Management Team

My wife and I spent two nights at this inn in one of the loft suites. We had some concern after reading negative reviews, but all in all we enjoyed our stay. A highlight was watching a parade of elks passing by our balcony late one afternoon. The suite was clean, although it could use some more lighting. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. My only negative comments are that unlike other Best Westerns where we stayed in the US and Canada on this trip, breakfast was not included. And a firelog was free for only the first night, although we got one free for the second night after complaining.

Dear AI G

We are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and a visit from the local wildlife. We are currently addressing the issues we have with the lack of lighting in our loft rooms. We do offer a variety of rates for a guest to choose from which do include the option for a bed and breakfast package which is a great deal. Our apologies that you were unaware of this at the time of your reservation.
We appreciate your comment in regards to the fire log and are now offering one complimentary fire log per day for our fireplace suites.
We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future as we strive to provide the best possible service.

Sincerely
The Best Western Management Team

Found a great deal online with this hotel so we couldn't turn it down.
Great location as it is only a 10 mintue walk to the heart of downtown. I was surprised to find a full kitchen which would be great for a longer stay.
The bathroom was really tiny but functional and the bedroom seemed like an afterthought but really who hangs out in the hotel when you are in Jasper! Nice to have a wood burning fireplace and supply you with one fire log per day. Not a huge crackling fire but still nice.
The resturant was good and the servers very friendly. The pool area great for the little one.
All in all it was a great stay.

Room Tip: One bedroom suite is great for families with pets.

After having enjoyed the magnificient drive on the Icefields Parkway, the Best Western Jasper Inn is quite easy to find in a quiet street near the center of Jasper. This town enjoys a variety of good restaurants and nice shops. But most important is the beautiful surroundings and the many easily assessible spots where nature at its best can be admired.
The hotel is old fashioned and renovation is long overdue. We stayed in the Loft-suite : downstairs there is a livingroom with chairs and a kitchen. Also the master bedroom with Queen bed, which room was so narrow that there was hardly any room between bed and walls, Moreover there was no wardrobe. Finally there was a small (4sqm) bathroom with a half- bath, a toilet and a washbassin. Up (the small)stairs there were 3 single beds. It is hard to imagine how 5 or 6 persons can live in this small suite. Luckily you have a balcony.
The TV had bad reception. No airco.
Buffet-breakfast was ok . This hotel is highly overpriced.

The Best Western is in a quiet part of town with adequate on site free parking. You can walk to the centre of Jasper in 10 minutes. The standard room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The on site grill was fine and had quite a varied menu. It's not the most modern hotel, but it has all you want - plenty of hot water! It had all the expected facilities in the room. As others have said there are no lifts, but the stairs were neither many nor steep. We were there 2 nights, one of which the hotel was full, but we weren't troubled by noise. I would certainly go back.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back are quieter.
