Spent eight nights here in February 2012 for a ski-ing break..
Friendly and helpful reception.
The room booked was an Efficiency with a full kitchen, enough equipment provided to make simple meals, a lounge area with an open fire, and 2 bedrooms, one being in the loft.
The internal bathroom was small but satisfactory. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and items such as coffee for the coffee maker were regularly re-charged.
As others have said a 10 minute walk takes you into central Jasper.
We only used the restaurant once in the evening which was fine.
In room free internet was available which we used however it did occasionally 'trip out' some evenings for what ever reason. Any outage was of short duration.
All in all a good stay!

Been here numerous times over the years. An older property, but some loft rooms have been nicely renovated. we recently (february 2012) rented a one bedroom suite with an upper loft for $185 per night plus tax when we were there with our three year old. she had a great time, and there was plenty of room for her and us to run around. the full kitchen was great as well. nice three day stay. good quiet location, nice view. playground one block away. Very clean property. We also spent lots of time at the newly renovated jasper recreation centre pool; the hotel pool was nice but very busy. Hotel restaurant is good but not overly kid friendly, but adequate. used the business centre for some work; very nice and quiet and is in the basement of the main building.

We love staying at the Jasper Inn when we ski because it has the best apres ski facility. Love their hot tub and steam room. On our last stay we had a problem with the wifi in our room and the staff responded promptly to resolve the problem. Great service!

One of the best hotels we,ve stayed in, Been to Canada many times and all the accomadation has been good, but this was by far the best - Only 10 minutes walk from town, good restaurant, hot tub, swimming pool, sauna etc, staff were really good and very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned and resupplied every day, well situated, ski bus stops right outside, would stay here every time in Jasper from now on.

Have stayed at the Jasper Inn many times over the years. The hotel has been consistently a welcoming place to stay.

The rooms are well appointed, they are clean and if you have a loft room, then you will have a kitchen/ette. Most loft rooms have a fireplace as well. The rooms are not overly fancy, but are basic rooms with a good number of amenities.

The Room we had was a loft room with the bedroom in the loft. The hotel does not supply wood for the fireplace, but will allow you to burn the firelogs. Not nearly as romantic as a wood burning fire, but for safety and cleaning, I can understand where the fire logs are better.

The room was clean and even with the abundance of families staying at the hotel, the room was for the most part quiet. Some noise from the hallway, leaked into the room, but it was minimal.

The bathroom was very small, but water pressure for the shower was good. My only complaint is that the bedroom is in the loft, and the bathroom is on the main/entry level, so if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you are walking down the stairs.

The heat in the room was a bit inconsistent. At one point it was very warm in the loft bedroom at another point it was cold. I think that this has been an issue at the Jasper Inn for as long as I can remember going there.

Had breakfast at The Inn Restaurant. The buffet had the breakfast buffet basics, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Overall the hotel was well run, and clean. The Staff were friendly to us, and made sure to ask us if we were enjoying ourselves (a nice personal touch). Rooms were decent sized, and everything in the room worked. The bathroom was small, but functional for one person. Parking on the property can be tricky as there are usually more vehicles than rooms and fewer stalls than rooms (at least on weekends). So you may end up having to park on the street. The rooms are not exactly upscale, and bordering on rustic, but they are clean.
