We stayed here for three nights while exploring Jasper National Park - and I wish we'd chosen someplace else.
To begin with, as others have also remarked, this is really more a motel trying to be a hotel. The property is rather old, and flimsily built - so you hear your neighbors' every sneeze or snore. Not conducive to a good night's sleep.
We had two rooms, one of them in what they call "loft" style, which means that to optimize the use of the cramped space they put the bed into a tiny upstairs alcove. Not to be recommended for older customers or those having trouble constantly walking small, steep stairs. Note they did not even ask us before assigning this room type.
House keeping is another major problem area. The rooms were poorly maintained with dust and spots everywhere. What's more, this is the only "hotel" I've ever experienced that charges you an additional fee if you want them to actually clean the room. I'm not joking - during our entire stay they did not once provide fresh glasses or cups, but instead insisted that since they provide you with a kitchen sink in your room, you are supposed to wash them yourself. Ridiculous!
Jasper National Park is a wonderful place to explore, so do yourself a favor and pick a better hotel to do it from than the Jasper Inn.
