“A great place for a young family.”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

We stayed with our two year old and it was ideal. It's just down the road from the leisure centre, hence the reviews for fitness and pool. Easy walking distance to the centre and in a nice quiet area. Playground just across the road and a short walk to the train tracks if you like the trains.

Kitchenette was fine for us, small appliances but perfectly usable for a short stay. Everything was clean and anything we didn't have was provided by the hosts.

It is a family house so expect to see and hear children around the place and if you're sleeping on the sofa bed then remember that small children get up the same time every day so sleeping in may not be an option. We had a great couple of days here and would recommend it for anyone in our situation.

This is my second time to visit this guest house in Jasper within 3 years. The guest house is clean, and the price is valueable. More importantly, the owner of the house and the families are really nice :)

We're a family of five and we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, spacious, clean place to stay in Jasper. Maggie and Todd went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved Whistlers Guest House! Great location in Jasper - easy walk around town. Appreciated the hospitality by Maggie and family to give us ideas on what to do. The suite is spacious and very clean and very reasonably priced. We look forward to going back.

We stayed for 3 nights and wished it could have been longer. The apartment is lovely and spacious. Very large living room with kitchen area, dining area and sitting area. The welcome was extremely warm and they provided great suggestions of things to do. Yes the entrance is shared but it felt like our own home just for a couple of days. Next time I would like to spend longer in jasper and wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay at Whistlers Guest house,a pleasant change from hotels. It is a basement suite, and very homely, ,the owners live above,There is a shared entrance but this is not a problem ,and plenty of parking. The property is on a very quiet street, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants,It is also easy to drive and park behind the main street if you wish as we did. It was very quiet in Whistler when we were visiting, but quite cold outside.
The living/ kitchen diner area is spacious, and very well equipped, even down to foil and sandwich bags. The bedroom is roomy and bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean and bright. Internet connection is available.Maggie was helpful and friendly.
We heard very little from above ,a few tiny feet ,but usually when we were waking anyway so not a problem. There are lots of books to browse,tv,and games, ideal for a small family or couples.

We stayed at this very nice place for 5 days. It was clean and spacious and had everything we needed to relax. Maggie was very hospitable and took good care of us. During our stay we had a planned power outage. She informed us and asked if we needed anything. Very considerate!

For us there was one downside to this perfect place: We are very light sleepers and sensitive to sounds. The family has small children which occasionaly make the cute, and not so cute, small children sounds. It wasn't loud at all but enough to wake us picky sleepers up now and then.
