My wife and I recently did a return train trip Vancouver to Jasper on Via Rail's "The Canadian" (in itself a fantastic trip). We chose to make the trip with only a single night stopover in Jasper as we have been there before and it being mid November, the weather is a bit iffy for outdoor activities - potentially too late for hiking and too early for skiing. As it turned out the weather was spectacular, but cold, -19C when we arrived and -25C the next morning, but with no wind so we still managed to get in a wonderful hike on local trails before boarding the train for our return trip.

The Inn was all we expected and more. Everything has been recently updated and the furnishings in all rooms, kitchen / living room, bedroom and bathroom, were comfortable, clean and the location quiet (although quiet applies to pretty well all of Jasper). As it was so cold (we are from Vancouver Island so the temp was a real shock to our systems), we elected to eat in the night of our arrival. The kitchen is well equipped, much better than most places we have stayed and we could have prepared and cooked almost anything we wanted. Even with the cold, the heating system, which has an automatic set back programmed, was more than up to the task.

While perfect for our short stay, the Inn would make a great place for a multi night stay. You could be as self contained as you wanted. Highly recommended!

When planning an overnight stay in Jasper we went looking for a B&B. What we discovered was there were no traditional B&B's in Jasper. Instead we found the White Brick Inn with its beautifully renovated basement suite. We were delighted to find it was even better than it looked in its photos....something right out of a TV reno show. The decor was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable and the shower devine with its rainfall head. John was very courteous and gave us great advice on places for dinner and breakfast. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Jasper.

We've booked a place at the white brick inn but were unable to arrive for check-in due to a medical emergency. Not only was John understanding and although we asked to delay the booking by one day and cancelled it altogether eventually, he refused to charge Any cancellation fees - what a great guy! We'll definitely book a place at the white brick inn the next time we're in Jasper...

My husband and I stayed at The White Brick Inn from Nov 4 - 6, 2011 while in town for my Brother's wedding. The Inn was exactly as advertised and was very well appointed, open and relaxing. Of course, the first thing that we checked was the bathroom that everyone raved about and it was great. The shower's rainfall shower head was a very nice touch! We had very nice towels and the bathrobes would be great after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything that you would need including a Tassimo coffee machine (great idea!).The bed was very comfortable and we easily found the extra pillows in the dresser drawers. I was very happy to stay the extra hour in bed after we 'fell back' during daylight savings time. The location is great, easy to find and located close to everywhere we wanted to go in town. We were very happy with the Inn and if we ever return to Jasper - The White Brick Inn would definitely be our first choice for accomodations.
Thanks for everything!!!!

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights in White Brick Inn during 13-15 Oct. I dare say White Brick Inn is really really GREAT, located near the main street. The place is newly decorated, spacious and clean. What I was impressed the most is the open kitchen, which is high-quality self-contained. Bathroom and bedroom are fantastic. All give us the feel of home. During these 3 days, thanks for John's (the landlord, i think?!) professional service and advice. Indeed, he is very nice and handsome. He always carries a big smile on his face. :)

I really love this place, and i will recommend this place to my friends who want to visit Canadian Rockies.
