Stayed in cabin #7 it was very clean and modern inside. Cozy with fireplace, we had a nice sized (almost full size) refrigerator, the kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils, pots pans etc, we did not cook but certainly could have made a nice meal if we would have brought food. Bed was very comfortable, nice sized parking space and room between cabins for a very private feel. The lake was just gorgeous, I have never seen such a clear lake you can see all the way to the bottom. The cabins are a short drive to Jasper but totAlly worth it if you prefer a private setting.

Room Tip: Cabin 7 was awesome

Patricia Lake Bungalows are interesting, to say the least. When we arrived, I was depressed feeling I'd stepped back to my childhood where we stayed at "cabins" or motels along the way. I became more than depressed on checking in: no phones in rooms (maybe we had traveled back to the 60's--and forget cell phone reception throughout the Banff/Jasper area!), NO WIFI!(and reception said "probably for 10 days), no one on duty after 10:00. We had booked three nights and our charge was nearly $800. Then we drove to the far end of the venue, "The Grove" and stayed in the Douglas Fir chalet, top floor. It was terrific. We had our own entrance and everything was new and beautiful inside--with separate bedroom and separate bath (which smelled like cigarette smoke, unfortunately), kitchen well equipped, living area with convenient gas fireplace. Bed was great as well, and bath had heated towel rack and great shower! Other minor inconveniences: no soap products the first day (can't call the main desk or housekeeping, remember), no sheets changed (mascara on my pillow was testimony), and no coffee on morning #3. OK, so why the 4 rating? Chalet was great, views beautiful, everything quiet. Chairs by the lake where we sat with our wine and cheese in the evening. I would recommend it anyway, if you like being away from town and on a most beautiful lake.

Room Tip: Definitely worth the money to stay in "The Grove.

Great rooms, wonderful ambience- good for family friends or a romantic vacation.

the good parts : we were 5 adults and we stayed in 2 different style rooms _ The Cavell suite & the Whistler suite. Asa couple I think the Whistler was more charming with a warm fireplace and cosy setting. The Cavell suite was better suited to a family (but small sitting area) 2 television sets, kitchenette, microwave etc. but both rooms were well appointed, comfortable.

the dock jetty by the lake was such a beautiful and peaceful setting (it was too cold for lake activities) but we sat there by the lakeside sipping wine and even late night to look at the stars

Hot tub and common BBQ area.

very quiet peaceful.

The not so good parts : no wifi ! there are no restaurant or eating facilities so to get food even breakfast you have to drive to town about 5 kms away. I thin even having a simple breakfast would help - and not having wifi in these times is jut inexcusable. (But they said they have issues with getting network and are working on it.) Breakfast is Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have wifi and thats the only reason why I am not giving it excellent but very good - if they got the wifi sorted I would give this place an excellent rating.

service wise the staff at the reception were very good and informative -very helpful with suggestions on directions, restaurants, things to do, travel etc. the cleaning staff also looked after teh rooms well, very polite and friendly.

i went to see another resort up ahead at Pyramid lake and I must say Patricila Lake was far better!

Room Tip: If your just a couple go for whistler suites more charming

We stayed in late September in a beautiful log cabin at Patricia Lake. It was a perfect spot and our cabin overlooked the stunning lake and mountains. Quite magical. Very close to drive into jasper. Wonderful stay.

We stayed two nights at Patricia Lake Bungalows, sharing duplex 27 and 28 with another couple. The units were so comfortable! Kitchen with all the needed full size appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils, including a colander, cutting board, cheese grater, etc. We cooked in both nights. The bathroom had a wonderful long counter. The beds were the most comfortable of our trip. Completely updated with all new flooring, furniture, fixtures, etc. The gas fireplace took off the little evening chill in no time. Windows in every room that could be opened for for natural light and fresh air. The big picture window was perfect for seeing the lake peek through the trees. Parking was directly behind the units; not obstructing the views and natural setting. It was so peaceful and quiet sitting outside in the adirondack chairs or on the dock facing the lake. The staff was very helpful, coming by each evening to offer assistance. Highly recommended!

When we reached this place, the first though was why are we staying here for only one day. We got a bunglow facing the lake and it was so very beautiful. It has fully quipped kitchen and nicely decorated... It also had an open Jacuzzi and kids had lot of fun.

We stayed 4 nights in a Grove cottage overlooking the lake and it was absolutely beautiful! There are smaller, more rustic cottages, however, the Grove cottages are very modern and we would highly recommend them. They are also more private then the other cottages and have a direct lake view. The area is extremely quiet and peaceful.

Our cottage contained a beautiful, modern kitchen, with gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, large selection of dishes, tea, coffee, coffee maker, toaster, microwave oven, gas burning fireplace, modern bathroom (shower only), heated towel racks and separate bedroom. The cottage is very bright with many windows, however, each has a very good privacy blind. The view from the living room couch is spectacular, with Patricia Lake only a few feet away and the mountains in the background.

The cottages do have a common hot tub and work out area, however, there is no restaurant on site, but this was not a problem as you would normally purchase a supply of groceries if you were renting a cottage. We did walk into town and back once - it is around 6-7km one way along the trails, and uphill most of the way back if you rent one of the bikes. Therefore, we would consider a car essential, if you want to hike on other trails outside the townsite (we highly recommend this), otherwise you will be spending a lot of time walking back and forth into town when there are so many other trails to see.

Room Tip: Select a Grove Cottage
