“Great View First one up in the morning”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

We travelled up to the resturant and had our breakfast at the top of the mountain, The food was ok for that time of the morning and we then explored around and seen the wildlife and then going down was steep and loved the views as well.

“Breath taking view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2014 via mobile

The tram ride is slower than others, which makes it nice because you can see more. The top is a little chilly, so wear bring a light jacket! You can see a lot from the too. Gophers and little flowers are a common sight. Can easily spend an hour or two up there! Defiantly worth it. Staff was friendly, and there is a restaurant and gift shop at the top. I would and will go back again!

“Wonderful Views & Optional Good Walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014

Hardly a cloud in the sky helps a trip like this. It's a cable car journey like any other but quite a long and spectacular one. Once there, you can just enjoy walking around the views or try spotting ground squirrels or marmots, or you can eat in the restaurant. You can hike on upwards for another half hour to the top of the ridge behind, and there are longer hiking trails beyond that across beautiful open, treeless slopes. If you do any walking beyond the tramway station, you do need good walking footwear with grip, and it can get cold and wet up there very quickly. The rewards, apart from the joy of the walking itself, are the wonderful views that open up all around.

“Beautiful view.”

If you are in the area it is worth the time. The normal waiting in line but once you are at the top you can take your time. Bring a jacket it can be cold even in summer.

“jasper 2010-2012”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

the ride on the tram is great and so is hiking up to the summits. my only problem is with the staff for the tram and at the restaurant. they are VERY RUDE and never seem to be in a good mood.
(I have been here 3 times in 3 years)

Also most of them at work on the tram and restaurant near the summit I would say 99% of them are from Australia. I guess people that are from Australia are generally rude and unpleasant. I do not know why the company that owns the tram and restaurant would hire people from the other side of the world. other then that the view can only be really enjoyed when you walk the trail to the summit. the summit is very large with a lot to explore.
