The Athabasca Falls is a very popular stop for people driving along the Icefields Parkway so expect the parking and the entire area around the falls to be busy.

You can make a little stroll of about 30 to 45 minutes here. Of course it is a nice waterfall and it was again interesting to learn some more about the history of this area through the info-boards, but I have most certainly seen more impressive and less busy water falls than this one.

Well laid out trail around natural phenomenon. Gorgeous coulour of the water caused by rock flour and highly photogenic.

The sheer volume of water that that goes over these falls is what really makes them amazing. As you stand at drink it in, you see, feel and hear the power of the water.

Definitely worth a visit whether it's your first or 20th time!!

This attraction is not to be missed if you enjoy grand scale. With a huge mountain and a green lake as a backdrop, and a roaring falls, there’s a good reason that tourists like this area. Be prepared for the changeable weather in this area.

Just hearing and seeing the force of the rushing water humbles a person. Makes you feel that nature is in charge.. an experience that won't be forgotten

Athabasca Falls offers good walking paths. This location is very popular with bus tours, I suggest you get there early. The lack of bins allowed visitors to throw garbage on the paths. We visited twice in a week once when snowing and the other time in full sun. Worth the visit

We were Lucky that just this day fresh snow was coming down, so we don't have the usual clear blue sky with nice greens pictures. Despite the weather it was really worthwile to make stop at these falls. You don't need much time, but it is really nice to see.

A nice trail that will take you all around the falls. With every turn, there was something more beautiful! The water color was breath taking!
