Stayed in this hotel as part of a Titian Rail Tour Holiday.
It was a nice hotel, good size bedrooms, had a standard double with two double beds lots of room, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little on the small size, but you don't live in a bathroom.
View from room was out over the side car park, not great but surpringly quiet.
Walked into town took about 15mins so not far at all.
Had enjoyable meal in the restaurant, the service was not so good, very slow at times.
The breakfast was buffet and ok, only used hotel for breakfast as including in our holiday package.
Didn't use the pool ect.
It was a nice clean hotel if a little dated in places.

Took a short get away trip to Jasper, AB to see the mountains. The hotel was located close to the downtown area and in fact we walked to town for supper one evening. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel offered an indoor heated pool and hot tub as well as a full restaurant on premises. The Chateau Jasper also allowed pets, which was essential for us. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a separate sink and counter area, outside the main bathroom, which worked well for us as there were 3 adults in our group. The room could use some updating in the bedding and decorating area, especially considering the price.

We were booked into this hotel by our tour company, Pacific Spirit Tours and are glad we stayed here. We were travelling on the Via Canadian and they picked us up at the Train Station. Our room was upgraded to an executive suite which proved to be very large and comfortable. Front Desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
The on-site restaurant has good food but currently service seems slow, apparently due to new kitchen staff. It is a good walk into the townsite centre, but the quiet location near the northeast edge is welcome especially in peak season(s). We stayed 2 separate days and will certainly return if in Jasper again.

Room Tip: Front of the hotel faces the rail lines; toward the back is certainly quiet.

Starting with the downside - the air con in the corridor is very noisy, but once your room door is closed you do not hear it. Room was very clean and well maintained but the general decor is a tad out of date. The walk into town did not phase us but we can see that if you are tired it might be step too far.

Big room, furniture quite dated, no view, but generally acceptable.15 min walk to town centre. Friendly staff. Bar area very quiet... Off season visit. We did not eat in the restaurant. We did not use the pool but it looked OK just a bit small.

Had to wait for room but receptionist didn't engage with us. He must have been having a busy day.
A few blocks out of town and not much around it.
Room was OK, hotel could do with modernising. Quiet location but very noisy lifts. They clunk.
Room OK but very strange configuration of bathroom with a sink outside and in, so made a tight fit in the main section.
Bed OK but not comfy and pillows strange. No breakfast included which is a bit mean for the cost. Not even coffee, though I could have made it in the room
