My Mum and I stayed at the Pine Bungalows this past September for 5 nights. It was wonderful! We had a cabin right by the river. Cabin was small, but had great atmosphere. There was a working fireplace, small kitchen area, sitting area, and for us 2 twin beds (other cabins have doubles or queens as needed). The bathroom was small, but has everything you need including a tub.

Many of the cabins were renovated this past year so they have hardwood flooring which was great. I just can't say enough good things about this motel. It is about two minutes outside of Jasper townsite, so at night gets quite dark and quiet. In the fall there is a very good chance of seeing elk and deer from your windows, or certainly at the hiway turn off.

There is no restaraunt on site, but you really dont need one. Small fridge and stove in your cabin, coffee and tea supplies left daily.

This hotel is great for anything from couples looking for a romantic quiet weekend to a family reunion.

we have now stayed at the pine bungalows twice in the last year and really really enjoyed each stay, the first time was just my fiancee and myself, and the second time we had our kids all with us. so it made for 7, the staff is wonderful there and although we had a couple of "little problems" things worked out great. I would and have told many friends about the wonderful stays we have had there and hope to have many many more. thank you!! My fiancee is from Scotland and he loved it too. we can't wait to get back

My daughter and I have just completed a holiday during September/October 2004 in the Rocky Mountains and Pine Bungalows was the perfect accommodation. The off season rate was reasonable and our heated log cabin also had a fireplace, kitchen & bathroom. The Athabasca river was a few metres away and elk, deer & squirrels were outside our cabin each morning & afternoon.

We recently stayed at Pine Bungalows for 2 nights but wish it could have been longer. Loved the fact that there was no TV. It was clean, comfortable and roomy. Definitely will return.

We stayed for 3 nights at Pine Bungalows and wished we were staying longer. We had a cabin along the river. It was very clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and fireplace, and very peaceful and quiet. P.B. is close to town, but not in town. One morning we had elk visit us and eat the bush right outside our window! It was so nice, it was hard to get in the car and go sightseeing.

We went with an open mind and were not disappointed. We had a river front cabin which was yards from the Athabasca, what an outlook. Mountains, river, squirrels, elk, deer. Our cabin was comfortable, clean and in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed many cups of tea by the riverside, just taking in the tranquility of the place. We knew we had chosen the right place the minute we opened the door to our home for 7 days. We loved everything about the place and we can't wait to go back there. Forget the microwave, washing machine, tv etc. Who needs them! You have a cooker and a fridge and that's more than enough! The cabins may be classed as "rustic" by some but we thought they were lovely. We looked at the others we had seen on the "Web", while we were in the area and yes they were very smart and probably had everything electrical you could ever wish for but you are on holiday and we go to get away from all the trappings of everyday life. None of the locations of these other cabins were quite as nice as Pine Bungalows. We would not hesitate in recommending them and we are definately going back there, hopefully for longer next year.

we visited canada in 2001 and during our travels found ourselves staying in the pine bungalows in jasper. as we drove down the drive we thought it was amazing just like it was when we visited in 1998. this was the second time staying here and we were all really looking forward to it. there were 9 of us altogether and we all had a fantastic stay. people were friendly and polite, cabins were clean. the only problem we had was a tiny little mouse like creature who kept jumping over one of the beds whilst we were sleeping. this just added to the excitment of our holiday. also a coyote ran through the grounds just passed our cabin. anyone who wants to see a true peice of canada this is the place to stay. waking up to the mountains and the lovely blue water everymorning is breathtaking. overall we had a fantastic time and are planning our next visit their for next year.
