It took us around 3 hours in total to complete the return, including snacks and stops. It was not too challenging compared with other trails in the area. However, the view is pretty nice towards the end. The first 1.5hour was really below the treeline and there was not too much view. However, the view opens up above the treeline with a lot of mountains. It is also a popular trail so you don't need to worry about bears. It also worth mentioning that after we finished the hike, we saw a large group of big horn sheep in the parking lot, licking the salt on the ground or on the car tires.
