We stayed in a cute cabin, not the lodge. It had a nice little deck, but was somewhat dated inside. Completely serviceable, clean and with a comfortable bed. We didn't participate but there were activities held at the fire pit such as music and s'mores. Staff were excellent! friendly and helpful.More

Ice fields
Great family set up. The interpretative talk was interesting and entertaining and the s'mores were a nice touch. The location was easy to find and access. The kids loved the curtained sleeping alcove. The beds were comfortable..even the pull out sofa! Kitchen service was well equipped for cooking family meals.

Can’t get much better than this
You definitely have to reserve at least 6 months in advance- yes it’s that good.

Very helpful and attentive to our requests
The interpretive talks were amazing
Rustic setting was also Amazing
Only negative I would say is sometimes the activities would be moved and we did not know where to go

My happy place !
I have been going to tekarra now for 12 years in a row with my kids , best place to stay in jasper , we look forward every year for our traditional trip to this beautiful place :)
Great service and the view is amazing !

Lovely stay
We loved our stay at Tekarra Lodge in Jasper. Our cabinets really comfy and had everything we could have needed included a warming fireplace, little kitchen area and local bathroom soaps. The staff were very friendly both on the front desk and in the restaurant where we had breakfast both mornings of our stay. The lodge is just a short 10 minute walk from town and in a perfect location for exploring jasper and the gorgeous surrounding area. Patricia and Pyramid lake and Maligne lakes are all a must see! Look our for the black bears on route to Maligne lake too!

Best hotel in the Canadian rockies
An amazing location and property. 10 minute walk to town for groceries and activities. Lots of wildlife on the property including baby elk walking around. A true Canadian experience. Really friendly and helpful staff. The cabins are perfect with their own fireplace and kitchens. A river runs right around the property giving spectacular views of the mountains. Truely the best hotel we stayed at in the Rockies
