Perfect one night stay. Beds were super comfortable-even the rollaway was good. Have three (ever so skeptical )teens admitting they agree with me. Rooms were large. Breakfast was very good set up with ready made pancakes and sausage patties. Fresh fruit salad galore. Smiling employees everywhere. I notice they even prepare breakfast on the go(brown bag) in the morning. Verrry accomodating. Though the surrounding area is under construction, it didn't effect our stay. Well supplied Business centre has two computers and printer set in one room with keycard access. The pool is somewhat kidney shape-very small open to 12am . Exercise room looked excellent. We had a great stay and definately will stay at this hotel when we come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here for three nights. It is located close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The West Edmonton Mall is just a short drive away. The location was perfect for all of our sightseeing that we were doing. We found the staff very friendly, rooms were nice/new and clean. There is a complimentary breakfast from 6am-10am which was good. The pool is on the small side, but my kids enjoyed it and it was well maintained by staff. I would definitely stay here again, we have never experienced such friendly and helpful staff in a hotel prior to our stay here, we were very impressed.

This hotel is extremely clean, the workers are constantly cleaning around common areas in the hotel and outside. The morning breakfast is excellent (need to get down to room early to get a table), and the pool was a hit with the kids. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating.

There was internet access that came with with the room. If you did not bring your laptop, they also had a business centre (room) with two computers hooked up to high speed.

Its very close to West Ed. Mall (2-5 minute drive). The only knock is the location, it is surrounded by street construction on 100 Ave. It was difficult to navigate back to the hotel from West Ed during peak times of traffic.

After so many hotel rooms in so many cities, stumbling on a property that was constructed less than 2 months ago is heavenly.

Finding the property from Edmonton Internationsl is easy. Major roads take you there straight-away from YEG. Be aware that 100th and the 216 has major construction while building an overpass, so watch for the signage to take the exit.

The Hotel is new. It looks that way, feels that way, and the rooms smell that way. Nice.

One difference is the size of the ordinary rooms and the Suites. I was upgraded to the suites upon request. It was worth it.

The room lighting is wonderful, the TV is a large flat screen, and the channel selection was magnificent. They even have BBC, which was great since I like to watch Torchwood.

Nearby are plenty of restaurants and Starbucks, Wal Marts, every store you expect or need.

The Hotel has a nice looking pool which I did not use, but many families looked satisfied with it.

The workout room is clean, new and the equipment worked well. I had an issue with the TV on one treadmill one day and mentioned it to the front desk. It was fixed by the next day. Bravo!

The free breakfast was superb, and when I came 5 minutes late one day, they still gave me what they had left from the kitchen. Bravo!

One quirky thing to mention you see in very northern climates; Parking spaces have electrical outlets to plug in the engine block heaters in winter. Yeah, it is mighty cold in those parts. I wouldn't have wanted to drive in my scooty Toyota Corolla rental there in January.

We are a family of 5 children 9 10 and 12.
We booked online at the last minute and had no problems getting this room online.
Have a family of 5 is not always easy to accommodate but this hotel had just the perfect room for us and we all were very comfortable. Lots of space in the room, very comfortable and clean. The pool was great for all of our kids. Breakfast each morning was a bit crowded but very good. Service was great as the staff were so friendly and took interest in our family.

We have just returned home to Saskatchewan from our recent trip to Edmonton-BC-Edmonton and we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on our way back from BC. We originally booked it online thinking we were booking a stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, our first choice and the hotel we stayed at on the first leg of our trip. We didn't think the Garden Inn could be topped, and at first we were disappointed with our mistake, but thankfully I can honestly say that this was the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at! From the moment we checked in we were treated like royalty (thanks so much to Orville, who even took the time to take my daughter's pic with her beloved "build-a-bear" for his report, she was so pround, lol). The staff and service were second to none, and of course the suite shop (like a convenience store just off the lobby), and free breakfast with its various hot and cold items (even cereal!) was a HUGE bonus when travelling with 3 kids. Depending on how busy the hotel is, I recommend going early (open 6-10 am), as the first morning we went to eat around 9 and found very little left as the lobby was packed with guests. We also took advantage of the free breakfast to go bags, and the free coffee/tea/hot chocolate that was on 24-7. The rooms were very clean, elegant and huge with a large bathroom, flat screen tv, free internet, safe, and spacious closet. It was quiet for the most part, just a few loud guestst using the elevator early morning (our room was very close to the elevator). The only downside was that we received a room without a microwave or fridge (not sure if you can request these)...when travelling with a baby this can be a problem, however we made do with the ice bucket and there is a common microwave in the lobby. The pools were great, especially the kids pool where our 6 year old and our infant had a blast, however we found the water was very cold every time we used it, which was every day but check out. It never bothered my 12 year old, she enjoyed the bigger pool, especially the volleyball net! The hot tub was excellent, very clean and just what we needed after a hectic day of shopping and site seeing. The room service was exceptional, however they do tend to come knocking and appear shocked to find you there, lol, so use your "relaxing" sign if needed. The hotel is in a quiet location, close to shopping and restaurants of all kinds, including the West Edmonton Mall. I hope I covered it all here, I am rambling, but it was such a beautiful hotel, and a wonderful experience...ahhh we miss it! We will definitely be staying again!!!

I stayed at the Hampton in August of 2008 after it soon opened. The hotel is clean, and has a great staff. The extras we enjoyed was the complimentary breakfast buffet (with eggs and sausage) wonderful amenities in the bathroom, complimentary WIFI in the room, and flat screen TV's. Close by is a walmart to get the kiddies snacks. The location is a little ways away from downtown but there seems to be little traffic so it is not a problem. Get a room with the view to the east and see the city lights. Beautiful hotel and staff, and I recommend Hampton highly. I can't rave more! Enjoy!
