“Took two trys”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

The first night we were a large group and there were some issues with the meals... wrong appetizers, cold mains, etc. The restaurant is pricey to go to with kids, but we were limited at the time. The second evening just two of us went and the service and the meal were great. Still rather pricey however, but our server was very helpful. Not sure I'd go back, but not sure I wouldn't.

“Good Food, Pricey Soft Drinks”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

Went with family and two grand children for supper on a Friday night. Seating was quick with no lineup. Had prime rib, steak sandwiches and a pasta dish. All were very good. Food was plentiful and served in good time. Beware of pop pricing as they were close to $3.00 per glass for fountain pop, and refills were charged for, not like many establishments where refills a free. Even with one refill per pop drinker this can become pricey. When we spoke to the manager on this he reluctantly discounted $10.00 on the pop but warned us this would be the last time. No worries about that as we will not return. It would be better if the staff were instructed to tell patrons that there is a charge for refills.

“No hosts, worse than dog food - do not trust the Italian name.”
Reviewed September 27, 2011

Hmmmmm, Zambelli, bella Italia were my thoughts before stepping into this restaurant. The pizza is as far away from an original one as Italy from Canada, the waitress brought wrong meals and servant attitude was not do be find.

“Be careful, be very very careful”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

Don't order anything you enjoy -- that would be unfair to your memories of the food elsewhere. My baked pasta was dried out -- on the INSIDE, and freezer-burnt from years living in a freezer on the OUTSIDE. The sauce was thinner than milk, the waitress slower than molasses, and the Italian bread softer than Wonder. In contrast, to be fair, their frequent customer among us got a good-lokking steak cooked appropriately as ordered, good humored service, and vegetables that were numerous and seemed happy to be sacrifice next to the unburnt offering. On no condition would I ever subject myself to the vagaries of this joint where dinner ranged from satisfactory to horrid at the same table.
