Was rather shocked to find such a great place on the east side of Edmonton, essentially against the industrial zone. As a lover of all things spicy, they did not disappoint. The lamb vindaloo was hot, as ordered, both temperature and spice. Garlic naan and paneer pakora did not disappoint.

Tucked away in the middle of an industrial area, the only restaurant within easy walking distance of the Radisson, we decided to try this place. Being attached to an award winning catering service may explain the excellent food. I don't understand why it was practically empty on Friday suppertime. The buffet had a wide selection, including a variety of sweets. The butter chicken was some of the best I have had, the zucchini massala, channa massala, fried fish and tandoori chicken were also very good. Fluffy, piping hot naan was delivered fresh to our table promptly. There was rice pudding, gulab jaman and traditional funnel sweets and others, but try the mango pudding which Inhaven't had elsewhere and was really good. The service was attentive and pleasant, the place was clean and modern with just enough Indian touches to remind you of its origin. Come enjoy this place before the locals discover it.

We eat here probably 5 times a year, and never thought to review it!
We enjoy what is on offer in the buffet, and have not eaten a la carte. There are an assortment of salads, usually a soup, several selections of hot dishes, including meat and vegetarian dishes, and an array of fruits and Indian deserts. Orders of fresh naan bread come straight to the table, and are a highlight. Indian restaurants live and die by their butter chicken, and this one is excellent!
The service is always attentive and efficient, the room is modestly decorated, and the location is easy to find just off 50th street and 76 avenue.

This dish is way over priced - these are not jumbo prawns
" Tandoori Prawns (10 pcs) $13.99
Jumbo tiger prawns are marinated and then cooked in the tandoor"

We have had better butter chickend and lamb curry.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
