This was our first time to visit this restaurant. The atmosphere is that of old British Monarchy with old pictures, some antique furniture and subdued lighting. This is interesting but feels a bit stodgy and gloomy to me. That aside, the menu was varied and the offer three courses for $70.00. We could choose a starter( appetizer, soup or salad) a main course and dessert. The menu notably accommodates for allergies and gluten concerns. I opted for the soup and it was amazingly good, probably the best I have ever had. The shrimp and scallop laid in the bowl and the server poured the creamy veloute over it. I opted for the bison for my main course, done medium rare and perfectly. I am not a big eater, but to be honest, it was a pretty tiny portion. The veggies accompanying it were varied but lacked flavour. My husband had halibut, very tasty and served nicely, but tiny portion. Desserts were good. The wine list was thoughtful and it was nice to see support for a Canadian wine.
