“An absolute gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

Went out with friends last night and ordered separate dishes for sharing. They were all yummy.. I had the shrimp with apples in a chili-curry sauce. I couldn't wrap my head around this combination so I just had to try it. The shrimp had a crunchy outside and wonderful buttery texture and the sauce was amazing. My friends had a chicken dish and a beef dish.. Also wonderful, I just wish they didn't charge extra for the rice :(. Malcolm, our waiter, was excellent. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it for the quality, taste and service.

If it's good enough for the Rolling Stones, it good enough for me! Vast selection of really interesting flavors, good and spicy!!

“Way overpriced for what you get”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

It's such a shame to me that some of the most expensive and often least authentic restaurants are located near the university--for staff and students that might want to organise a lunch or dinner nearby, the options are not plentiful. Again, there are so many authentic restaurants in town that are more affordable...

“Really good food, but not excellent”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

It's definitely overpriced. We had a pretty great meal but not really great. The spicing of the curries we tried was really nice, but the price prohibited two people on a budget from exploring the menu a bit more.

“Crikey bring the oxford scholars!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

Just a heads up, make sure you have some dollars (oxford scholars) on hand you will need them, most entrees around the $20-25 mark......went with a group (nine) $29 per head for 3 apps and 4 entrees and rice, overall not too bad, Prawns (shrimp) not bad but chicken dishes nothing flash, ginger beef though was a surprise and very yummy. Restaurant not busy at all when we were there, but could imagine it getting cosy when busy. Good beer and wine selection but the service was awesome, attentive and knowledgeable. If you are looking for authentic reasonably priced Thai I guess its OK.......but might be some better options out there.
