“Best fine dining in Edmonton, possibly best food ever!”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

My bf and i came here for NYE dinner and it was AMAZING!! it was quite expensive ($80/person for 3 course limited menu) but it was worth EVERY PENNY! There was at least two of three items to choose from for each course. I had steak tartare, sablefish in lobster cream sauce with mussels and seafood sausage, with a chocolate mousse for dessert. The tartare was very good, good portion for an appetizer, the taste reminded me of the beef in vietnamese noodle soup actually. The sablefish was ridiculously good, BEST i've ever had, of any kind of fish, the lobster cream sauce was very tasty, mussels were very fresh, 11/10!! the dessert was good but wasn't as good as the two other courses. My bf had the venison and it was delicious.
since it was NYE the service wasn't the best, probably 'cause there was a large group ahead of our order. the food more than makes up for the service and this was the first time we were there so maybe it's a one off.

Summary:
Would definitely go back for a special occassion, well work the price.

“Lovely”
Reviewed February 4, 2012

Great presentation and flavour. Salads albeit flavourful could be larger. Surprised dessert (chocolate) was so plain; a few squiggles of raspberry or chocolate plus a chocolate shape on top would have accentuated great taste.

Don't expect intimacy of dining; tables close together and room for 30 plus in a small space makes for noisy environment

“Superb in everything, as usual!”
Reviewed January 20, 2012

This is our favourite place to eat in Edmonton for several reasons. The staff is absolutely top notch and could not be improved upon whatsoever. They are discreet, incredibly knowledgable and genuinely care about you, the customer. The food is remarkable. Each time we do not want our dish to end as they are so wonderful. It is THE place to go for a special occasion or just because. Kudos to the staff! We left very satisfied and happy. Thank you for treating us so well!
