This newly refurbished restaurant has excellent quality, simple, Italian fare. Reasonably priced and very friendly service. Recommend reservations- when we were here on a Friday evening all the tables were full.

We visited Enzo's which is actually in our neighbourhood and had a wonderful time. Upon arriving the restaurant was full with a great atmosphere. People were talking and enjoying heir meals; felt like a cafe in Europe. My wife tried the minestrone, which was among the best we have tasted. We then ordered the Pescatore and Diavolo. Both were very tasty, with the Pescatore loaded with seafood. The Diavolo was a spicy sausage in tomato sauce which was also excellent. Because of dietary restrictions, we had this with gluten free pasta, which again was high quality. Finally, we had the Affogato, expresso on icecream, which was delicious. Enzo also came to speak to us at the table and we had a great conversation. All in all, a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere.

The restaurant was very packed and noisy. I ordered an insalata mista and a spaghetti aglio e olio. The insalata was rather ordinary, disappointing when there are so many bright summer vegetables around. But the spaghetti aglio e olio was exceptional. It is very hard to do a good pasta e olio. The pasta was al dente; the garlic and olive oil distinct and complementary instead of dissolving into a greasy mess. What made it was the parsley and the abundant pepper. We finished with a tiramisu which was one of the best I've ever had, with the right combination of cake, cream, and brandy.

We had an early dinner on a Sunday evening, prior to attending a performance at the Jubilee. We had reservations, which was a good thing, since the bistro was quite full by six o'clock. Our party of four began with a bottle of Velletri Reserva ($29) and a shared appetizer of bruschetta, which was delightfully crisp and garlicy. Two orders of pasta Vongole were enjoyed, especially since the sauce was full of clams. One person ordered a side of prawns to top her pasta, but decided afterwards that they were not necessary since the clam sauce was so satisfying. The pasta Pescatore was a delicious mixture of King crab, scallops, shrimp and mussels, tossed in the same Vongole sauce. Leftovers were carefully horded for a much anticipated lunch the next day! For dessert we shared two orders of Affogato, which was espresso poured over vanilla ice cream, and two orders of Enzo's Tiramisu, a light and creamy recipe created by his mother. Both were perfect finishes to a delightful meal, and we were not able to pick a favourite. Our waitress was prompt and efficient and Enzo visited our table a few times, which is always appreciated. He walked us out and thanked us for dining at his restaurant. What more could you ask for?? We'll be back. Thanks, Enzo.

Little, out of the way restaurant, in McKernan. Had a great lunch of panini sandwiches and an excellent Tiramisu for dessert. It was quite crowded for the lunch hour - keep up the good work, and stay in the neighborhood.!
