Looks and feels run down. Escalators not working. Uninspiring place and pretty ugly architecture.

Did the photo work at an international conference there and everything worked. When being built, the Centre needed extra supports lest it slip down the hillside onto the river's edge. It got them, and soon may get an expansion. Catering, arranging lecture halls, setting seminar spaces -- the Centre does everything so undramatically and easily that visitors are exhilarated even before they discover that teh grand patios outside offer an unmatched sweeping view of the North Saskatchewan River and the South side of Edmonton. The University's conference facilities do not equal the Centre's. Parking is limited and expensive, but the rapid transit nearby is wonderful. So are several hotels, including the fabled MacDonald next door. Security is excellent in the bguilding and on the patio. A romantic, exciting place -- much more than a "Conference Centre" usually is. This is one of Edmontn's best achievements. The Hardware Grill across the street is another, one of Canada's finest restaurants. Warning: farther away, the neighborhod awaits revitalization and after dark, who knows what awaits YOU!

Sucks for large concerts. Not enough seating made available.

I was here for a large company Christmas party. Great place for this type of get-together.
I found it clean and modern looking inside.

Typical conference center. Nothing special except exceptional parking hassles during events. Also nearby parking meters in lots don't often work for credit cards so take cash/change just in case
