“Great Show, Good Food, Waitress overwhelmed”

Show, seating, food was great.. waitress needed a break or help... it was a full house but maybe having a bus boy to clear tables would be a good idea for busy nights. Will go again!

“had a blast”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

we caught a show while in Edmonton. The comedian was Rocky Laporte who had that great New England accent. He had us laughing our butts off. The venue was good too as most of the seating/tables are close to the stage.

“Funny comedians, terrible customer service!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

We went to the comic strip on Saturday September 22 to celebrate my best friends 25th birthday. After having Bismal service at another place a couple hours earlier we were excited to have a few laughs! We were seated at a decent spot in the middle, but after we got settled in one of the employees asked us if we would move to a different spot because there was a reservation. They were late and it clearly states on the ticket that if you are late you may not get your reservations. The kicker was while he was asking us to move all of the other decent seats were taken which would leave us in the far back. He kept leaving and coming back (I assume talking to the manager) and came back to offer us free tickets. We refused as it wasn't our fault the people beside us didn't know how to be on time!! We asked for a refund but were told they don't give them. He eventually left and didn't return. The waitress was the worst part. She got our drink orders and asked if we wanted a tab or If we would pay in cash. But that was after she mentioned that paying in cash would be inconvenient. We chose to pay in cash for that reason. If you don't want to do your job quit! Anyways after everyone around us had gotten their drinks we were still waiting! My friend got up to ask her if they were coming. She barked at him that it takes a while. Even though the group beside us had their orders taken last they still had their drinks well before us. When she came back she gave my friend his change but jipped him $1.50. At that point we decided to just let it go. She came back to check on us about an hour later and my friend ordered another beer. When she came back she jipped him another $1! Had she of just been friendly she could have earned it no need to jip!! Very rude terrible service. That was my first time there and last. It's unfortunate because the comedians were hilarious!!

“Good laughs, gross food!”
Reviewed June 9, 2012 via mobile

good laughs, disgusting food. steak looked like a pork chop, tasted gross. even the vegetables tasted bad. service wasn't good, but to cut them some slack she did just start 2 days ago. we were charged for each pop refill, and for the starter salads included in the meal. strongly reccomend just going for the show and drinks and eating elsewhere

“Decent comedians, terrible service.”
Reviewed May 22, 2012

Well if you want to laugh come here, but if you want a beer an some hot food you might as well go somewhere else, you can easily wait 20 minutes just to get a waitress to pass your table and another 20 to get your drink, food - dont bother takes about an hour an comes out cold, not to mention if you need something to go with it, you will be long done by the time it gets too you.

On the lighter side they do have good talent though....
