We have dined at Cibo four times now, and not once have we walked away disappointed. We attended their Taste of Tuscany evening with much anticipation as we had just holidayed there for three weeks and being a "foodie" had indulged in their cuisine. Their standouts were definitely their entrees, the rabbit sausage was perfectly cooked. Wait staff were friendly and inviting, wine was perfectly paired, ambience is relaxed and casual. One to keep going back to, absolutely.

I visited the restaurant with my friends for supper. Two of us ordered the rabbit, the other person ordered the steak. The rabbit was externally salty. Both of us were unable to finish our meals. The steak was over salted as well and it was served barely warm. We were all very disappointed.

The menu has some real gems with a good selection of Italian wines by the glass. Service was professional, attentive and relaxed. The fritta polenta are addictive-delicious by themselves- and wonderful when combined with the hot Italian sausage and a savory sauce that they serve with them. The flavors of vegetables and halibut combined in the fish special were carefully selected. The side of asparagus had a depth and complexity seldom achieved with this delicious spring vegetable. The visit was very satisfying; Cibo provided choices that certainly are not part of my home cuisine!

The view of the small shopping square through wide bright windows was pleasant and the surroundings are quiet and facilitate conversation.

Myself and 3 colleagues went there for lunch by fluke. We actually were heading to Hudson's because the parking lot was full on that side and walk right by Cibo and decided to try it out, glad we did. The place has a very cool bistro vibe and the menu appears to change daily. We had the salad which was an arugula, roasted walnut, pear, lemon vinaigrette and it was OUTSTANDING! We also had homemade pasta with a bolonese sauce which was fantastic. To finish we had cappuccino and could not have been more satisfied. Well done and we WILL be back!!!

Located very close to the Hudson's Taphouse pub, Oilver Sq, (near the Safeway) this is not somewhere you would notice in passing which may be a challenge for the owners. However it is a great new Italian restaurant.

The atmosphere is casual yet classy, and the room is bright and airy thanks to all the windows (but no nice vista to gaze upon). The food is truly excellent; extremely tasty and well presented. The serving size is good and very reasonably priced. We have been twice now and the same server helped us; she was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable (complemented by travels to Italy).

This restaurant is a great, and in my opinion better, alternative to the popular Corso 32 on Jasper Ave. Check it out!
