Located very close to the Hudson's Taphouse pub, Oilver Sq, (near the Safeway) this is not somewhere you would notice in passing which may be a challenge for the owners. However it is a great new Italian restaurant.

The atmosphere is casual yet classy, and the room is bright and airy thanks to all the windows (but no nice vista to gaze upon). The food is truly excellent; extremely tasty and well presented. The serving size is good and very reasonably priced. We have been twice now and the same server helped us; she was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable (complemented by travels to Italy).

This restaurant is a great, and in my opinion better, alternative to the popular Corso 32 on Jasper Ave. Check it out!

Three of us, rather satisfied. We brought our own wine. We loved the pappardelle and the guance di manzo, divided views on the winter squash salad. I loved the insalata di rucola. No salt and pepper on the table. We would have preferred to add salt as needed. Can't subtract it. Food a bit salty, as other reviewers have noted. But overall really tasty food, and -- as Arnold said -- we'll be back.

I agree with DPW, we went back to CIBO because we had a great experience there last summer. However, we found that everything was over salted this time around. The gnocchi was delicately made, with great flavor - and if we could have taken out the salt it would have been wonderful. The sides for the sable fish were also just too salty - which detracted from this dish being a real winner. Their wine list is on the expensive side, nothing under $40, but they do let you bring your own with a $25 corkage fee.

Happened upon this restaurant by accident, and was not disappointed. We ended up sharing a few antipasti and a nice bottle of red wine. Great decor, small, but delicious menu. We will definitely go back!
