“Nachos not recommended”
Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

Went for lunch, had the groupon, ordered the nachos that were supposed to come with sour cream but it was only sprinkled on top. Was charged more for extra sour cream. Nachos were made with mozzarella ??? Did not receive plates or utensils, hardly any napkins. Will not go back.

“Taste of Mexico”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Decided to try this place out for dinner one Friday night and found it a very busy place. Without a reservation we had to wait until someone canceled theirs before we got seated. Very friendly staff and service was good.Started with guacamole which was great...shrimp quesadilla was ok but found it had too much cheese in it..rice and beans on the side were pretty good. Decent selection of Mexican beer and Mexican soda. Would have loved if we had been able to talk but the one guitar player was very loud for such a small place. We will go back for the food to try some other items on the menu but it might be a take out order.

“homemade tortillas!”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Went for lunch on a Friday and we ordered chicken and pork "tacos tacos tacos". You get three soft tacos - with delicious homemade tortillas. Salsa and guac were (obviously) homemade too and totally YUMMO! Was totally delicious. The refried beans and rice you get are OK - not amazing, but still tasty.
Service was good, music was a little loud for lunch.
They offer sodas from Mexico - including Mexico Coke!
I'd recommend it if you want to try some new Mexican - it's good.

“Okay Food, Horrible Service”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

We went there for dinner last night since we had a groupon for them that was expiring soon. Since I have a two year old that is a picky eater, we were happy to see that there were chicken fingers on the menu. For an appetizer we ordered the combo platter which had mozza sticks, chicken fingers, wings, and jalapeno poppers - not very mexican. When it came, the chicken fingers were missing - we mentioned that to the waitress and she told us that chicken fingers did not come with the platter and we would have to order a side order if we wanted any. We pointed out that they were on the menu and she said she'd look in to it. When she came back about 5 minutes later, she told us that they were out of chicken fingers and that the kitchen didn't tell her.

Our meals came out fast and they were just okay. We had to wait about five minutes after our food was received before we got cutlery and napkins and the restaurant really wasn't that busy. The waitress kept saying that it was only her first night so I guess that made it okay. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were good, the sides of rice and beans were not so good - the beans were burnt on top and the rice was really bland. My husband had tamales and he really liked them but he didn't touch his beans and rice either.

Wife and I wanted to escape the cold of Edmonton. Went to Three Amigos. Food was delicious and service was good. Only complaint was that the music was a little loud. Otherwise than that if you are looking to find some Mexican food in YEG come here!
