We went to this unique restaurant in a group of 10 on a weekday for lunch. I have tasted a lot of South Indian dishes back in England and also when I was visiting India, This restaurant is the only South Indian Restaurant in the entire Western Canada I would say that reminded me of the authenticity in taste and appearance of some of the South Indian dishes we tried. Though they call themselves a South Indian restaurant, their north Indian dishes were very tasty too and quite different from the usual north Indian dishes due to the different spices they cook with. Besides the extremely friendly waiters, the owner herself explained the difference between South Indian and North Indian spices and the style of cooking which was a bonus as it is a small family business who cares about what their patrons think of their food. We were told that it is 100 years old two story home turned into a bistro like restaurant with on-site parking, so in spite of being unique, felt a bit crowded but they have a big dining area with live cooking upstairs for groups over 10. Next time we are moving upstairs.
