Stayed at this hotel during a lacrosse tournament with my family. Was wondering if this would be nice after staying at the Holiday Inn across the street (NOT Recommended) but was pleasantly surprized. The hotel has been kept up and is up-to-date. Rooms were great size with lots of room for a family of 4. Pool was in lower level inside the gym - nice for the kids. In our deal we had coupons for the breakfast buffet - nice location in their atrium and food was normal "hotel breakfast buffet" (scrambled eggs, meat, cereal, toast, fruit). Great location for our needs. Parking was either outside or underground in the secured parking area. Our room was facing the street and was very quiet - don't know about those that face the atrium. Overall, I would recommend this location.

Stayed for 4 1/2 days in mid-August, 2013. Sue Thomson, the catering manager did an outstanding job dealing with a multitude of requests and arranging a win-win for all. Michelle, Brenda as supervisors were fantastic and my all time favourite server was Flo. She was everywhere and always had a smile and a "can do" attitude. The front desk staff were patient with everyone and managed to keep all very happy. We had over 200 attending and I never had a complaint on the rooms or food. On the contrary, the food kept getting rave reviews, from the breakfast buffet in the atrium to our meals in the banquet rooms. You guys really know how to serve roast beef. The potatoe martini bar was fantastic and very good value for the money. The attendees that visited the Lion's Head Pub also enjoyed the wide selection of beers on tap and the fast and tasty food on offer there.
The rooms are nicely appointed and have lots of plug ins for electronics. Free wi-fi was fast and reliable. The rooms are very well sound proof due to the concrete construction of the hotel. The hotel is centrally located on the south side of the City, with bus service on the street and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops and to a Superstore. I did not visit the pool or gym, but those who did were very satisfied.
The head office organizers are more than willing to come back to this hotel the next time Western Canada can host. Well done, Radisson. Your staff, food and rooms were an outstanding hit. Thank you.

This hotel is approximately 15min from the airport located in a busy commercial area. The hotel's lobby & public areas are dated, but still high quality & classy. We arrived early but were accommodated. Unfortunately, the room they gave us hadn't been cleaned. It also had an ugly, dirty cement balcony overlooking the parking lot. We were shocked & called down to reception. They quickly sent a manager to assist us with our bags & take us to our new room. Our second room was an inside room with a small balcony overlooking the interior courtyard; much nicer although it made the room dark. The room was large & recently updated with a sitting area, desk, & flat screen t.v. The bathroom was small but was finished nicely with quality materials & fixtures. We enjoyed free WIFI & parking. Recommended for a one night stay before a flight.

Room Tip: Ask for an interior room; much nicer balcony views.

Believe it or not, it took me a good few hours to find a pet friendly hotel that did not have a stupid weight limit! Our dogs travel frequently with us, sometimes we bring all 5 - and in Canmore, Banff, Spokane, Whistler etc - they do not have weight limits.

Some of our fave hotels such as Meterra & Matrix both do as does the Westin and Sheraton in Edmonton.

We were in town for a DockDogs event held at Cabela's - and low and behold, the ratings on Tripadvisor for this hotel were superb!

We called, spoke to a gentleman, and found out it was pet friendly with no limit. It was an extra $10 per dog per night, but we were okay with that! The rates weren't bad to begin with!

It is located south of the city, so not a far drive in to Edmonton from Calgary. It is close to everything you need, including supermarkets, big box name stores - and about 15 mins to downtown with no traffic. Parking was easy and free.

Dogs could eliminate on the grass areas which was convenient.

The hotel is dated on the outside as well as the elevators, lobby and hallway. What it made up for was the rooms were spacious, clean and updated. The service was amazing and our room service for breakfast was courteous (a call before they brought the food at 715am), delicious and on time!

The bed was a little lumpy but it was huge with clean sheets. We had the king!

All in all, a great hotel to stay at and I would definitely come back if I had to bring our dogs to Edmonton again!

I used to stay here when it was owned by Coast and it was quite terrible. Radisson has turned it around with updated rooms and much better staff who really make a difference. Great benefits for Club Carlson members - you'll want to do this as my experience has been better since with free room upgrades and other little things that make you feel like a valued customer.

Room Tip: I prefer the atrium facing suites for my stays

Nice clean modern rooms with great beds and pillows. The breakfast in the restaurant was sort of plain and ordinary but the service was great. We had meetings in their conference center down stairs, there was an attached area where snacks and coffee were served all day and I have to say that the food and service there was some of the best I have ever had. The hotel is located in a decent location for doing some shopping nearby, as well there are some really decent chain restaurant close.
