“Best bistro in Edmonton”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Great atmosphere with a French trained chef in the kitchen. The best steak tartar in town! Great beer on tap and a great selection of wine. Location, just off Whyte is great as is the outdoor patio on summer nights. Young owners try to make sure your wishes are met. Good daily specials..overall a great experience

“Nice place”
Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

Good ambiance, tasty Belgium beers! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.enjoy! We didn't have a chance to try their food, plus nothing really attracted us, but we kept coming here for drinks. What a nice place!

“Wonderfull surprise”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Looking for a new place to eat on a Saturday evening we stumbled across the Accent Lounge. We had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich and both were fantastic. The service was prompt and the place was very quiet when we were there. Perfect for a couple trying to avoid the loud scene and the crowds.

“Good Food, Bad Service But Worth It To Go.”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

If they ever have the carrot and ginger soup available while you are there you have to try it, it's to die for. Get the small if you plan on eating anything else as the portions are big. I had the bacon wrapped scallops and I believe that the lobster was a bit overcooked but it was still incredibly tasty. I shared the lamb with a friend and as much as it was cooked perfectly (probably cooked the best I've ever seen) I didn't enjoy it. That isn't there fault but my preference in tastes.

The service left much to be desired. It was very slow and i'm fine with taking my time and not having an attentive server to some extent but when you go long enough without your server and having no water anymore and become parched that to me is a no no. The staff were all very nice though.

The bathrooms is where you really know that this is located in a old building. It was very unique but I thought it needed a little bit of renovating (the bathroom door didn't close lol).

All in all I would go here again and I would recommend this restaurant. Maybe not as a romantic place but definitely a great place to sit down with people and have a great time. Don't go here if you are in a hurry though.

P.S: The crepes are sooooo good!!! The peanut butter smoothie cake is exceptional too if you're a chocoholic/peanut butter lover.
