We visited Calgary for the Stampede and after a few days wanted something a bit different. As it was raining and we couldnt sit outside to dine we decided to take a look at the Bear & Kilt cellar bar. We are so glad we did, we had some of the best bar food so far on our trip. This bar is quirky and the staff were great. When we walked in (in our western wear) we felt a little out of place as the rest of the clientel were in anything but western and had many tatoos but no one looked twice at us and we were welcomed immediately by the staff. Well done to them for their open friendly ways.
