We were a party of 7 women (high earning good looking women in their 30s) there for a birthday celebration. We were told by the manager we would be 'well taken care of' when we arrived, but our experience was quite the contrary. We were seated at the back of the restaurant instead of the fireplace fancy table which was booked for two weeks by us and confirmed 3 days earlier. We waited 1 hr 10 min before they came to take our order and before they brought bread and butter to us! They charged $9+tax+tip for water. Free tap water is not an option and there was no warning about charging us. Their only good service was the water service, of course so they could charge us for water that comes from a special 'filtration' system they have. (Sounds like a scam to me and a great return on investment for them).
We asked the waiter to explain the difference between two entrees and what they came with and he said "you can read it on the menu" and ran his finger patronizingly along the text on the menu. There was no mention of specials for the evening. Apparently the waiter didn't want to help with any questions about the food. The manager later was seen making out with a woman at the bar.
The food was nice, except for the dry bread that came with the fondue. There is now no decent chocolate dessert on the menu.
Note, these people running this restaurant are a joke. If the owners knew I'm sure they'd be upset. We were told 7pm was the latest they'd accept a reservation and that 7:15pm would be too late. So then why after having arrived on time did they wait to take our order till after 8pm?
