“small dish but big price tag”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

the food is good but the dishes are small but the price was pretty high for the amount of food you get. i had the duck plate which was good but there only a few was peices of duck and alot of veggies and that seem to be a trend for the other meat dishes as well so that was disaapointing. It is good to try it but to go back again i dont think i will as there other tai places which might be a better choice

“Just ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

Had lemon thai chicken and it was fried chicken breast with mayo over it, set on a bed of iceburg lettuce. For entree had yellow curry, it was just okay. Not that very flavourful for thai food. For appy had spring rolls and they were, well the best part of the meal. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

“The food is there; but not really Thai food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

It is a Thai restaurant by name; The decoration and the name of the entrées sounded "Thai", but that's about all.

The food is ...edible. But if you look for authentic Thai food, this is not the place.

What else is bad? Order entrées do not come with rice, that's extra charge. We order a beef dish and a whole fried talapia. Both dishes came without rice. How in the world would you eat those things with?

In the end, we paid over $45 CAD for our dinner. The next day we went over to the Saigon Passion restaurant and had a super nice, authentic dinner for $35 CAD.

“Very good selection and quality of food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

Four of us recently went to Thai Boat for dinner. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food. The menu is extensive with many selections. We chose a section of appetisers and entre dishes and enjoyed them all. The service was very good and the prices are reasonable.
We recommend this restaurant and would go back again.

“Very Good Food and Service So-So”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2012

I visited Thai Boat and found the food to be very well cooked and prepared by the owner Therm. It is a family-owned restaurant and he is a good owner. He often talks with the customers and prepares Thai food from his native Isan.

Isan is Eastern Thailand, I had chicken panang with cocnut rice and it was very tasty.

Unfortunately the service was so-so...the waitress was not very friendly or attentive and she spoke no Thai.
