My wife says they have the best bar lasagna in town, so we go there a lot, on account of my not wanting to make lasagna.

I have celiac, but I don't like making a big deal of it. Nachos are really good (and pretty much everything nachos should be), wings are alright, cheap on certain nights.

Bar looks nice I guess. Still a sports bar, and I don't care for sports. Um, staff uniform is... smart.

Cheap. Almost unbelievably so.

On Monday's, Madison's has a great deal (pick-up only though): large 3 topping pizza, large lasagna, large caesar salad, and 2 pieces of garlic toast. All this for just under $27.00. This is our 4th time ordering this Monday special. We wanted a break from cooking, so called and ordered a Hawaiian w/extra cheese (along with the other items listed above). It was ready for pick-up in 30 minutes. The pizza was good, although there were some pieces that only one had one or two pieces of pineapple on it, while others had lots. The cheese was nice and stringy (good mozza!!), and the crust wasn't soggy. The lasagna is basic (meat sauce, noodles & cheese), and not too bad. There are certainly better places for lasagna, but at this price, what do I expect? The salad is romaine lettuce, some croutons, and little shavings of parm. It comes with dressing on the side. I've tried the dressing, but prefer our own store bought garlic caesar dressing. The garlic toast has been hit & miss (good & 'garlicky' one time, and just plain toast the next). We haven't eaten in for quite some time, but it does seem to have a steady stream of people coming & going. We'll be ordering again.

We expected a nice restaurant however, it's been converted into a blue collar bar/lounge with a lot of baseball hats and jeans. We were all dressed up and left as we felt out of place, but returned another time after a day of fence painting and fit right in in our grubby work clothes. I ordered the special of the day which was a steak for $10 and my hubby ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and boy were they both delicious, and flavorful. My steak melted in my mouth and the portions were a good size. Food was MUCH better than we expected. Drinks were a little on the high side for a bar/lounge however it was the weekend so maybe that's why. Service was fast and friendly, however it wasn't full on this particular night. Would go again and try their other specials of the day.
