For our overnight stay in Calgary we selected this restaurant to have dinner. Did our homework thru TripAdvisor just to be sure. Cousy little place; local neighborhood gem! The bruschetta had a delicious kick! The homemade sausage is fantastic in the pasta with a rich red sauce. For dessert had the zabaglione... Mmmm! (And I'm not an egg yoke type person). Our server was courteous and very attentive. However, the owner (and we know it was him because of the article framed by the front door with his picture), did not stop by our table not once. He went around us numerous times (counted 4), visited or stopped at all the other tables to check on the experience or the food. But not at ours. This is specially bad if he made eye-contact but did engage in conversation. I don't know why, other than I guess we needed to be of the "right" color... Beware "brown" people are not welcome. Most unfortunate because the chef is amazing!
