The ambience at the restaurant is wonderful. Victorian decor in an old building in Inglewood.
Cozy & warm. Great food. Excellent staff.
The dinner menu is limited, but very good.
Breakfast there is terrific. They make some of the best egg bennies in Calgary

ordered a lunch and tea. had to ask for milk which annoys me. Pleasant servers but inexperienced. Food arrived eventually and was very good. had to go to bar to use my debit card. Technology sort of matches surroundings..needs an update

We went to this restaurant (party of 6) since we'd heard very good things about it. We sat in the upper level of the restaurant and unfortunately it was very warm. Our server, although friendly enough, was less professional than we expected for a place in this price range. The wine list, although small, had some very good and well-priced selections. The food was average. Two of us had the jambalaya and it had plenty of protein and was reasonably tasty. The rack of lamb was judged to be "average" and the chicken special was tasty. The biggest praise was reserved for the soup of the day, a curry / coconut milk offering that was delicious. We shared a couple of desserts and the selection of ice cream was very good. Overall, not a bad place but there are many others that offer better value in this price range.

I have enjoyed this restaurant a few times and the food is very good. You usually need a reservation but it is worth the trip. The staff are very attentive.

We went for a mid-week lunch without a reservation and were thoroughly impressed.

The waitress was friendly and efficient, the sangria (special featured drink of the day) was superb with fresh blueberries and peaches and was only $5. We ordered caesar salad, prime rib soup, and the "omelette of the day" and were very impressed.

I eat gluten free and was told that most of the menu is already gluten free...that always impresses me. The decor is really playful and quirky - vintage style tables and chairs and it feels as if one has left Calgary and perhaps dropped into a little bistro in Paris.

We will definitely go back!
