“Pre theatre meal”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

a tasty and delicious pre theatre meal. We love the cheese choices, pome frites and wine selections. A nice noisy bistro atmosphere.

“Still good after all these years”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Through the several locations and ministrations of Divino over the years, it is still an excellent choice for Calgarians. Service and food quality remain at the high end of the spectrum in the city. As is evidenced by how busy they still are even though they aren't the new guy on the block anymore. Reservations recommended if you're going at peak time.

“Smaller menu - higher prices”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

A business associate and I went for lunch at Divino's in downtown Calgary. Divino's is situated on beautiful Stephen's Avenue in the heart of downtown Calgary, AB. I had a very flavourful butternut soup (it just blew my mind) and a Niciose Salad also perfectly done. The atmosphere is always warm, although it is quite dead before noon. You have to however reserve a table in advance - they disappear quickly. All this said - it seems like the menu shrinked and the prices spiked. Paying upwards of $20 -$25 for a smallish lunch does not make sense. If you want something more filling over lunch, be prepared to order more dishes and pay more or eat less (and leave hungry). Dinners I've had her in the past has been much better!

“Midweek treat”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

I had a very enjoyable wine and meal at the bar. The atmosphere was good for a midweek visit. Attentive service and just enough dialogue with the staff to not feel alone. Great pork steak from local farms. House wine selections were a bit pricy for a glass at the bar $13-$16 but I knew I was in a first class establishment with high standard,so the prices were not unexpected

“Great atmosphere, excellent service”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

The great serivice made it an excellent experience at this restaurant, not to mention the food. The atmospherr is relaxed, yet elegant and the prices were reasonable in comparison to the other restaurants around the area. Would definitely recomment it.
