We ate at Cattle Baron with friends and family, including children. Good points: service was quick and friendly, and there were lots of families dining near us. You can dress up or down. The decor is a bit dated looking but it's clean and comfortable. So-so points: the food is fine but not great. One of our steaks was a bit tough, but not so much as to send it back. The steamed vegetable side dish was too plain and undercooked for my taste. The baked potato was pretty standard. Hot rice pudding, a special that day, was lukewarm. The prices were average steak house; about $20-30 an entree. Not terrible, but not memorable.
