Four of us went to this restaurant last Monday with a kid of six years old. Earls doesn't do a kids' menu, you have to order a full meal or they share a plate with their parents. We asked for ice cream afterwards but were told they only serve gelato. Clearly a place for yuppies. Kids not welcome.
The service was terrible. The girl who served us first of all told us there was no room inside for five. Not true, as I pointed out. Once we were seated she didn't tell us where to find the wine or beer menu (we hadn't been to Earls in years) - one indented in the back of the menu, the other in a small book called Sips. She put the kid's Coke right on the edge of the table where he cd knock it over (luckily I moved it). She clearly didn't feel like serving that night.
The meal itself was fine - juicy steak and great fries. Forget the rest.
