Description: Caesar's is undeniably old school. Rich surroundings of burgundy leather and dark wood finishes evoke a sense of nostalgia. The space isn't the only thing that defines Caesar's, but rather a complete package. Caesar's has been captivating diners with the best aged, individually cut to order and charbroiled beef that Alberta has to offer, the art of service and value. Returning patrons often ask for their grandfather and / or father's table for a lively discussion over dinner to celebrate a special occasion or for an important business meeting. That is because a steak dinner is more than just a meal; it can turn into a ritual of sorts, best performed not by a restaurant, but by an institution. Caesar's Steakhouse was established in 1972 and the ownership has remained with the same families since inception. Our relationship with our customers, our suppliers and our team is what has made Caesar's a tradition in the Calgary community.

Stayed at the Westin and walked here. Old business but is so good. The steaks that we had were cooked prefect and no fat ! The stuffed potatoes were good . Higher price for the best . Average price of the meals 40

“Didn't like the decor, but those steaks are great!”

Just ignore the tacky dark, low ceilings and old mirrors, close your eyes and eat steak! You will then find yourself in steak heaven.......

“Rating based on the steak alone”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

If you are into anything but steak, this is not the place for you. The atmosphere felt like 1970's porn movie. I think only Calgarians can find it "classy" or romantic, but I digress. The service was horrible and slow (possibly bc we were only 2 people, but the restaurant was pretty empty). We had to call another waiter twice to find our waiter. The room was pretty smokey, especially when they did some table side service dish for the group next to us. The garlic bread resembled something you'd find at a school picnic, right down to being wrapped in tin foil and lacked any taste. The "salad" was a plate with some lettuce thrown on it and was awful. The saving grace for this place and why I would Definitely go there if i'm in town again was the steak. I ordered the large fillet minion and it was Absolutely perfect. I'm a very tough judge of my meats and extremely hard to please but their steak was so good, I forgot about everything else which was crap about there and would recommend it in a heartbeat.

“Maybe I'm Spoiled By Texas...”

Had dinner with several business associates at Caesar's. Decor and ambience are very nice and elegant. Service is very good (slightly less than great, until I was able to get server to share opinion about wine, after which he became noticeably friendlier). Very nice albeit expensive wine list.

I had rib eye...it was tasty, tender, and prepared correctly, but only about 1" thick...perhaps I've been spoiled by the 2" thick bone-in ribeye steaks at Vic & Anthony's, Brenner's, and similar Houston steakhouses.

This is THE place for special occasions. Very classy décor. A real gem in Calgary, if not in all of Western Canada!
