Description: Caesar's is undeniably old school. Rich surroundings of burgundy leather and dark wood finishes evoke a sense of nostalgia. The space isn't the only thing that defines Caesar's, but rather a complete package. Caesar's has been captivating diners with the best aged, individually cut to order and charbroiled beef that Alberta has to offer, the art of service and value. Returning patrons often ask for their grandfather and / or father's table for a lively discussion over dinner to celebrate a special occasion or for an important business meeting. That is because a steak dinner is more than just a meal; it can turn into a ritual of sorts, best performed not by a restaurant, but by an institution. Caesar's Steakhouse was established in 1972 and the ownership has remained with the same family since inception. Our relationship with our customers, our suppliers and our team is what has made Caesar's a tradition in the Calgary community.

It was open brain our private room upstairs. I liked the decor, very retro with their red leather seats and dark wood panel walls. The steaks were tasty and the puff potato was to die for. The cheese bread was great too.
The only thing I'd recommend is renovation the bathrooms. They look old and stuck in the 1970's.

I've been going to Caesar's for 30 years. Best steaks anywhere. Make sure you order house dressing on the salad, a spicy caesar to drink and a stuffed baked potato. It is where I take all out of town guests who love the place. Given that Calgary doesn't do fine dining very well, this place is a real gem.

Caesar's has a good reputation for steak and it kept its reputation as far as I was concerned. Only thing to keep in mind was that I asked for medium rare steak, expecting it to be quite red. It was medium, a nice pink, and that may be Calgary standard for medium rare. I don't know. Worth asking what they mean by the terms if you're not Canadian.

We went to Caesar's for lunch while we were visiting Calgary after seeing it recommended on Tripadvisor. From outside it didn't look particularly impressive and in fact we didn't think it was even open but decided to try the door anyway and were very glad we did! If you really want to try the fantastic Alberta beef, we recommend ordering one of the ordinary steaks like the Ribeye - We tried one house special as well which was very good but you didn't appreciate the quality of the beef to the same extent. When we first looked at the menu, the prices seemed a little high but after tasting the food it was definitely worth it!

We had the best meal out of our three week holiday in Canada here. Easily. In fact, we think it is the best steak we have ever had. Period. It looks nothing from the street and almost puts you off going in, but do go in to the olde worlde charm of a leather and oak panelled restaurant. TheThe waiters are old school, traditional, there to help you, and not intrusive: none of this mindless Canadian backchat e.g. "how are your first few bites?". None of that here.
The menu is very simple: steak, steak or steak - have it with chips or with a baked potato. We asked for mustard but, boy, we didn't need it - the steaks come with their own juices and that is all you need. Perfectly cooked to order on the grill, and the seasoning was fantastic. No veg to speak of, but hey! We're only here for the steak. Nice red leather thrones to sit on. If you need a drink, there is a great bar with a friendly bartender to watch the Olympics Opening Ceremony with and explain the intricacies of Mr Bean playing 'Chariots of Fire'.
If we ever return to Calgary this is where we'll be eating... every night.
