We needed a fresh face in Westhills and these guys have hit the mark with an upbeat pub that "ain't" pubby. Super menu , great natural light, well trained staff, but be careful. Loved the soups, but fish tacos were a bit flat on flavor. My husbands chowder was a hit. The trend with "communal " tables is a great idea.

Recently opening in Westhills, it is a great options to your standard Earl's or fast food fare.
National on 10th is quite trendy with the bowling alley and on 17th is quite hip - this place is neither hip nor trendy, but more suburban cool. High ceilings and a clean decor are nice touches to the long, sharing tables and lots of bar seats. This is a great place to bring friends for fun dinner out without having to drive all the way downtown to do so.
I popped in here with a friend on a Saturday night and it was packed and really noisy (I think the high ceilings are to blame here). He ordered the fish tacos and I the veggie brown rice tofu bowl. My dish was exactly what I wanted - nothing deep fried, just veggies like beets and chickpeas over brown rice with strips of tofu - all for a reasonable price.
The service was friendly and we left feeling full, if not a little deaf.

Pro: New, very clean, nice decor. Magnificent selection of beer. French toast with apple slices was outstanding. Eggs in Eggs Benedict appeared free-range. Lots of parking. Real napkins vice the increasingly-ubiquitous paper things - nice touch.

Con: Despite the billing, pretty limited brunch menu and, despite a very attentive and competent waitress, food took a long time coming (the place was not crowded). Had the food come faster, 'service' rating would have been a 5. Eggs Benny was cold and the 'hollandaise' seemed canned. Coffee was no better than 'meh'.

Prices not unreasonable. Much of the seating is picnic-table style; maybe not suitable for those with back problems. Haven't been there at night; might be a great bar.
