We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Staybridge in Calgary. The little kitchenette allowed us to enjoy some quick meals there. The staff very very friendly & helpful.

Priority Club complimentary water offered. Used 1-bedroom suite, spacious, comfortable although only 1 easy chair as this suite was furnished with (good, comfortable) "office chair" for workdesk. Bed was very comfortable too; although a thin, too-well-used sheet had been used, with a small tear which quickly became larger, a complaint brought apology and immediate change. Hotel was quiet with minimal disturbance and rooms well insulated. Breakfast provisions and service very good, all staff encountered very pleasant and helpful. Midweek Sundowner was not used, so cannot comment on that. WiFi worked satisfactorily. Did notice that hotel asked for airport shuttle (not needed by us) to be booked previous day for required time - this could be inconvenient for some.

Staybridge Calgary

Had a great stay here.  Staff were all friendly.  Check-in was fast and we got our welcome bottle water and treat for being a Priority Club member.  They upgraded us to a two-bedroom suite which was great.  One room had two double beds and an ensuite bathroom and the other bedroom had a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom.  There was also a sofa bed in the living room area. So this suite can sleep 8!  It was spacious and clean. The bed was too soft IMO and was slopping.

Wifi was very slow. So slow that I tethered my phone instead.  They had a note on their welcome website not to download because it slows the whole network.  I'm just glad that I didn't have to rely on their Wifi.

The complimentary laundrymat was nice.  They charge $2.50/per box of tide.  But you can use your own if you have it.  They have a business center with two computers and a printer.  They also have books and board games you can borrow.

They have a sundowner on Tues, Wed and Thur which is basically dinner.  It was very good. Breakfast was good too.  Very good selection.  Great value when you consider the free breakfast, free dinner and free laundry!

The hotel is close to the airport and highway #1 and Tim Hortons is just next door.  There's also a hot yoga studio and a day spa next door.  I think that's great especially if you have time to kill.

I've stayed in hotels in downtown Calvary and they're very nice but I would rather stay here, it felt more like home and have awesome amenities.  Wouldn't hesitate to stay here at all!

This is the worst managed hotel I have ever stayed at. A stay here will have you yearn for the "Horror Hotel" in the 1960 movie starring Christopher Lee of the same name.

The staff was clueless and the manager was like the wind. Never there to help. And his staff never seemed to know where he was--almost like it was part of their training to run interference. His welcome letter asks each guest to contact him with issues--and yet he never returns calls or emails when they do. Rooms are not clean--and the food at buffet is strew about and the OJ was sour.

We left this hellhole and went over to the Hampton Inn down the street. The Hampton felt like the Ritz after suffering at the Calgary Airport Staybridge!

It is also of note that the mgr leaves the same cut and paste boilerplate response to all the negative reviews on Trip Advisor

Thought I'd stay in a nicer place to finish off our trip before flying out the following day.
Had checked online, saw a price of $140.00 (CAA discount of 10%) for queen suite.
My pricing for hotels for most of the trip was max $100.00/nite.
Pleasantly suprised when the room came with full hot breakfast, and we got a full hot lasagna supper free that nite too!! That suddenly made the $140.00 a GREAT value, as it saved me $60-80 in food.
Room was clean, nice full kitchenette, full refridgerator, stocked cupboards (china, cutlery).
I'd defintely choose this place again!!
