“Great for advanced players, very challenging for beginners.”
Reviewed January 22, 2012

Harvest Hills is a very well maintained golf course, great service and awsome food. I use to live in the area so we got to the course quit a bit in the summer. I did find it hard the first few times but as I got to know the couse it got easier. I was told Harvest hills Golf course was featured in a golf magazine for one of the best 9 holes in Alberta. If your a beginner you should try for some lessons before hitting this course. I have seen grown men lose it on the greens. Nothing a beer and one of the awsome burgers didn't fix though.

“Nice challenging nine hole course”
Reviewed June 25, 2011

Don't understand what the previous reviewers found so bad. we have never had a problem with the food or the staff. It is a challenging course with all the water and sand but an easy walk as fairly flat. Beginners should go to par 3 courses as well as a driving range before they hit the links.

“Unprofessional golf director, will never golf there again.”
Reviewed September 5, 2010

Unprofessional golf director, will never golf there again. After playing the course we decided to have lunch at the club house, well not long after 3 of the 4 players started getting cramps and got sick from food poisoning, two days later i contacted the golf director to make him aware of the situation. His response was that it could not have been food poisoning and that I was only "milking the situation". He is very unprofessional, has no customer service sense.

“Worst experience in all the years that i have golfed”
Reviewed August 27, 2009

Avoid this course as best as you can. I had a foursome, and two were beginners. As most golfers i hate having a group go slow, and I admit that we were a little slow on the first hole, and we let the next group go ahead of us. After the first hole we started playing best ball, and we were able to keep up with the next group with ease. Unfortunately for us, we had complained about the profanity coming from the group that we let go ahead of us, which to our dismay, had an employee in the group. Almost immediately after we put a complaint in, we had one of the Marshals following us each hit and constantly yelling at us to hurry up, even though we were playing best ball and we were right behind the next group ( there was no way of going any faster, the next group was at the tee box, and we were putting in our last ball). This continued from the fourth hole up to the eighth hole. As soon as we had finished with the nine holes, i pulled the marshal aside and asked him why he was harassing us. He said that we were holding up the course, even when I showed him when we were on the 7th hole that we are right behind them. If anything these employees are showing great arrogance and have no idea as to what being professional is on a job. In any case, i would never suggest playing this golf course, and if you do, be prepared to be harassed. If you want a good course to play on, go to heather glen golf course in the southern part of the city.
