“A lovely park in a very nice setting”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

has a good playground, picnic area with barbecue. Dogs like to play in the river here. A lovely setting for brief hikes and nice picnics. The river is there and so peaceful

“Something for everyone”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

This park has it all - single track, paved trails, dog area, bike only trails and of course an ice cream shop - all adjacent to the beautiful river. Great for group picnics and to get your toes wet on warm days. Not excellent, but very good.

“From city views to river's edge”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

I've accessed Edworthy park from several angles but as an armature photographer I tend to lean towards the Bow Trail access near Sarcee Trail since I get awesome views of the Children's Hospital, Foothills Hospital complex and downtown as well as the Bow River. The main area of the park has lots of large trees and a variety of birds. There are lots of good areas for having a picnic or other get-together.

“Excellent walk”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

The park has a healthful environment. It's next to the bow River and so a real good place to walk, relax or even do barbecue picnics. Recommend reserving the picnic spots at nominal cost fromcity of Calgary .

“NOT BAD, NOT GOOD, AVERAGE”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

The road down to the park from the paved street, is the pits if you're driving a motorcoach loaded with students. It is poorly signed, the hill road & bridge is falling apart, it is nearly impossible to turn around, the grounds are poorly kept & now that the flood has attacked it, I can't even imagine how bad it will be in the future, even when supposedly restored.
