First time visit to Lotus Vietnamese. I was introduced by a friend who works at City Hall a block away. Decor is nice. Lots of room between tables. Lots of old wood. Place has character.
The service is efficient, but our server (female) wasn't real talkative - or smiley for that matter. But, we were having a business meeting so it wasn't important.
He ordered the #51 - Charbroiled Pork Balls and Spring Rolls on Vermicelli. I ordered the House Special Charbroiled Short Ribs, Shrimp Paste Wrapped in Bean Curd and Broken Rice with Fried Egg. Add the sweet vinegar/fish sauce and you have a great flavour. Not too overpowering but definitely a flavour that tempts you to keep eating.
Will be back. Very good value.
